There is an old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” That could easily be said about the connection between New York Times bestselling author Selena Kitt and adult film director Kay Brandt. This film represents the fifth adaptation of Ms. Kitts work, in this case her novel “Bluebeard’s Wife’. Ms. Brandt writing and creativity makes this an erotically charged adult feature film that will perk up your senses. Like the previous four this release has a very compelling story, a very solid and professional cast, great settings and backdrops and plenty of searing, steamy, sizzling sex to put a big red bow on this exquisite package of adult entertainment. If you have seen any of the previous Kitt-Brandt collaborations, you know that you are in for one very special treat.
The story is centered on Tara (Penny Pax) and her husband (Ryan Driller). She wants to desperately save their marriage especially after she finds out what her husband has been hiding from her, his penchant and need to call into phone sex operators and detail his sexual fantasies. It all comes as a shock to Tara and it also opens her up to explore her own sexuality and how far she can go to make things work between her and her husband. What really sets this whole journey off is that Tara begins to secretly listen in on his phone sex conversations and begins to think of how she can make everything right.
In the opening we see her and Bridgette doing a series of exercises together. (I got tired just watching them!) They take a break and begin to talk about more intimate things. Apparently Tara and Ryan’s sex life at home is pretty vanilla and she isn‘t sure how to spice it up. Bridgette, who is her best friend, is very open when it comes to sex and tells her that she needs to be more aggressive, wear sexy lingerie, take the lead and go from there. Tara is a little hesitant by her looks and reaction but says she will give it a try. Of course at this point she has no idea what is really going on with her husband. It’s now nighttime and there is Tara in the darkened hallway in a sexy get up ready to greet Ryan when he walks through the door. One thing leads to another and they head for the bed room and have a very steamy encounter. Then they fall asleep, but Ryan is awake and has a message on his phone from the phone se x girl. He leaves the bedroom and goes to another room and as the call proceeds he is playing withhimself. Tara wakes and sees he is not in bed and goes down the hall and discovers what he is doing. She says nothing but stays out of view listening to the exchange and starts playing with herself and is enjoying it. When it is all done she goers back to bed, then Ryan comes back and nothing gets said.
She see her girlfriend Bridgette, who hosts lingerie parties, and while they talk pretty open, Tara can’t come right out and tell her what she found out about her husband. This is when things really begin to get interesting as she hints at what is taking place and Bridgette still wants her friend to open up sexuall feeding her lingerie to wear and even a vibrating dildo. The next night the same thing happens as Ryan sneaks out of the bedroom and to the other room for another phone session. Only this time Tara decides to sneak into the room and surprise him and does she ever. Let’s just say that this redheaded vixen has some very exceptional oral skills. What takes place at that point and from then on creates a big change in Tara’s sexuality and how she feels about herself, being more sexually open and keeping things between her and Ryan solid. So much more I could tell you, but I want you to enjoy all of the fun, excitement and surprises that await in this well done feature.
Ms. Brandt has fashioned a very exquisite production that is very real, very believable with crisp writing and fluid well paced direction to let each scene evolve. Penny Pax turns in an excellent performance as Tara with just the right dose of awe, surprise, wonder and excitement all put together to make her character very real. Bridgette B. is perfect as the “need to know” best friend in another solid casting. The six sex scenes are all loaded with plenty of steam and sizzle with the finale a great way to put the wrap on this story. Once again the Kitt-Brandt connection hits a home run and scores big with this latest release. I most definitely recommend “The Lustful Wife” from Adam & Eve for a great couples night of adult entertainment. Enjoy!
