LOS ANGELES, CA – (October 7, 2019) – Wicked Pictures is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated new entry from the Wicked Comix label, Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, and its official safe-for-work trailer are available online. The richly diverse big-budget parody’s September 30th online debut was followed by a social media unveiling of the action-packed SFW trailer. Fans quickly responded with unprecedented excitement, praising the trailer’s production value and costumes, as well as Braun’s vision and especially Kenzie Taylor’s brilliantly canon portrayal of Carol Danvers. The movie is currently #1 on Adult Empire’s Trending Videos index.

For his 60th parody, legendary director Braun pulled out all the stops and delivered the Captain Marvel that fans deserve: snarky, sassy, and ridiculously sexy. Featuring a star-making performance by Kenzie Taylor as Carol Danvers, amazing costumes, and a supporting cast led by Ana Foxxx as Monica Rambeau and transgender superstar Aubrey Kate as the Supreme Intelligence, Captain Marvel XXX can fittingly be called the crowning achievement of the King of Parody’s stellar career.

 “It’s awesome to see so many people reacting so positively to the movie,” said Braun, “It’s an outpouring of love that validates all the hard work we put into this project, and all the credit goes to Kenzie. She inhabited the character as if it were a second skin, and showed not only an outstanding level of professionalism but also some incredible acting range. Being able to do comedy and drama equally well is not something that many actors can master, but Kenzie managed to deliver a performance that showcased her ability to do both while staying true to the character. She absolutely owns this role, and I am just happy that I was able to capture her epic awesomeness!”

Taylor is quick to reciprocate the praise: “I am so beyond honored to have had a chance to work alongside the one and only Axel Braun. In addition to Taylor, Foxxx, and Kate, Captain Marvel XXX features Braun regular Ramon Nomar as Chrell, Quinton James as Yon-Rogg, and Lacy Lennon as Jean Grey. A four-time AVN Award winner for Best Soundtrack, Braun tapped Lennon, who is a trained opera singer, to sing the film’s theme song “Asses,” a parody version of Celine Dion’s theme from Deadpool 2. And speaking of Deadpool, a hilarious clip at the end of the trailer revealed that Braun also managed to get reigning AVN Best Actor Seth Gamble to reprise his iconic role, much to the delight of comic fans everywhere.

“After the success of Deadpool XXX, and the fantastic performance Seth delivered in it, I’ve been looking for any excuse to bring the character back”, said Braun with a grin. “Once I started writing Captain Marvel XXX I quickly realized there was a perfect opportunity for the Merc with a Mouth to be involved, and Seth was more than happy to wear the costume again, despite the scorching heat and the long hours. Saying that he was phenomenal would be an understatement…we literally had to do dozens of takes just because the entire cast and crew kept cracking up, and his three-way with Kenzie and Lacy Lennon is one of the best sex scenes I’ve ever shot. I cannot say enough good things about Seth Gamble, he’s the best actor in the industry and a terrific performer who has always delivered for me. I mean, he’s been Luke Skywalker, Captain Boomerang, Mr. Hyde, Deadpool…I dare anybody to pull off characters so diverse and to bring his level of commitment and consistency to an adult set. He is also a very close friend of mine, so he not only trusts and understands my vision, but he’s also able to bring to the table ideas that perfectly integrate with it. Many of the funniest Deadpool lines are complete improvisation on his part, and I am so lucky and grateful to have had him in this movie!”
A master of the parody form and a visionary filmmaker, Axel Braun is in a league of his own at this point. His previous Wicked Comix epic, the big-budget Marvel spoof Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, was a massive commercial success which topped the sales charts and took home four major trophies at the 2019 AVN awards, including a 9th consecutive Best Parody for Braun, along with Best Actor (Seth Gamble), Best Art Direction, and Best Makeup. Braun, Gamble, and their “Merc with a Mouth’ are currently nominated for several 2019 NightMoves Awards, which will be held in Tampa, Florida October 13th.

True to the comics, Braun is giving audiences a far more sarcastic, badass, and sexually adventurous Captain Marvel than the one portrayed by Brie Larson in the mainstream film version.
