‘Women Seeking Women 113’ Named
Best All-Girl Release of 2015!
TAMPA, Fla. (October 15, 2015) – Girlfriends Films received three awards at the 2015 NightMoves Awards this past Sunday. In addition to “Women Seeking Women: Volume 113” being named Best All-Girl Release (Fan Choice), founder Dan O’Connell received a Lifetime Achievement Award, while contract performer Prinzzess Felicity Jade was inducted into the NightMoves Hall of Fame.
The 23rd annual awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by NightMoves Magazine on Oct. 11 at the Tampa Gold Club.
“We’re very grateful to the NighMoves staff for these honors,” said Girlfriends Films President Moose. “Dan’s vision and work in the industry were honored with a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award, while Prinzzess is the perfect adition to NightMoves’ Hall of Fame.”
Moose added, “It was also great to see ‘Women Seeking Women: Volume 113’ recognized for its fantastic sex scenes and erotic scenarios! It’s another feather in the cap for our longest-running series!”
Although O’Connell was unable to attend, Prinzzess was on hand at the show to accept his award and read his acceptance speech to the audience. It read:
“I feel blessed and chosen to work in the adult industry. Few businesses are as unique and exciting as this one and there is no other business like it! If you are so lucky as to work in it, be proud, for you are doing a service that makes countless people’s lives happier and more fulfilled. There are so many people whose lives would be devoid of sexual enjoyment without us.”
O’Connell’s speech continued: “Nobody ever receives such an award without owing thanks to many people. I especially thank the girls who are brave enough to take off their clothes and show their sexual skills for all the world to see. You are true one-percenters, doing the work that 99% of the population would not have the courage to do. Also, thanks to my co-workers at Girlfriends Films, where everyone has always supported me and no one has ever quit or retired. Thank you Paul Allen and everyone at NightMoves for this important award. We’ve gotten awards for our movies but none of those is as important as one like this that recognizes the individual for accomplishments in doing their best for others.”
Girlfriends Films’ “Women Seeking Women: Volume 113” rounded out the evening for the studio when it received the award for Best All-Girl Release. The movie featured Prinzzess, Darryl Hannah, Tanya Tate, Holly Michaels, Randy Moore, India Summer, Kendra Lust, and Georgia Jones.
The popular lesbian studio has a rich history of accolades at the annual event, such as the 2012 Best Production Company (Editor’s Choice) award and 2013 Best On-Going Series (Editor’s Choice) for “Women Seeking Women.”
The NightMoves Awards honors the adult industry’s top films, stars, and filmmakers as voted by fans across the country. The award show is part of the four-day NightMoves Awards weekend that includes Fanfest, a VIP party and the Star Caravan, presented in various gentlemen’s clubs in Tampa.
