Male Performer of the Year Adds to His Extensive List of AVN Awards Noms

VENICE, CA – It would hardly seem possible that Mick Blue could add to his already incredible list of nominations for the 2016 AVN Awards, but he’s managed to do it with a nomination for Favorite Male Performer in the fan-voted nominations.

It’s a rare opportunity for fans to exercise their democratic muscle in support of their favorite male performer. He now has 32 nominations for January’s AVN Awards and 9 for the 2016 XBIZ Awards.

“It is incredibly gratifying to be selected for so many nominations,” Mick said. “There are thousands of scenes every year and every category is super competitive. I’m humbled to receive so much attention from the good people who decide these things.”

Mick and his wife/Female Performer of the Year Anikka Albrite are featured in a new Loaded article. It talks about their awards, mainstream aspirations, even mentioning that they starred in the Austrian horror movie Chimney or Pit earlier this year, and the joys of being porn’s first couple.

“We’re like any couple – we want each other to have a good day at work,” Anikka told the magazine. “It’s just that, for us, that means having sex with other people all day. I know from the outside that sounds odd, but there isn’t any jealousy – we tell each other the kind of sex our day at work involves.”
