LOS ANGELES, CA – (November 23, 2020) – Global adult entertainment studio and distributor Wicked Pictures today announced it has received an array of 2021 XBIZ Awards Nominations which speak to the rich and diverse nature of its brand.
The Wicked team’s slate of tradional couples product was recognized by the XBIZ editorial staff alongside such innovative new ventures as Wicked Girl jessica drake’s ongoing docu-sodic project jessica’s FANtasies and veteran contract director Brad Armstrong’s PORN: The Series, the company’s first limited series drama. European powerhouse Dorcel, whose stylish productions have been distributed by Wicked in the United States for over two decades, received several major nominations, including two for Erotic-Themed Movie of the Year. And in recognition of the Wicked brand’s continuing success in the pleasure products space, Wicked Sensual Care was nominated for Sex Lubricant Company of the Year and received a Sex Lubricant of the Year nomination (for simply AQUA). Conceived by Brad Armstrong (with one episode written in collaboration with jessica drake), the gripping ‘meta-porn’ anthology PORN: The Series dramatizes true industry stories and represents Wicked’s entry into the world of sexy, prestigious, and star-studded limited series content. XBIZ honored the episode ‘Content Trade’ with a Best Sex Scene – Vignette nomination (for jessica drake, Isiah Maxwell & Marcus London). The ‘Bathing Beauties’ episode of jessica’s FANtasies earned the creator, director, producer, and star a Best Sex Scene — All-Girl nomination, which she shares with Charlotte Stokely.
Industry stalwart Mike Quasar’s work for Wicked was rewarded in two performance categories, with Swipe Right earning Bella Rolland & Derrick Pierce a Best Sex Scene – Erotic Themed Release nomination. Quasar’s Crushing on My Bestie saw fan favorites Aaliyah Love and Cherie Deville receive nominations for Best Sex Scene – All-Girl.
Paris-based Dorcel received Erotic-Themed Movie of the Year nominations for both 40 Years Old, Comes to Life and Climax, with the latter also recieving Best Cinematagraphy and Best Sex Scene – Erotic Themed Release (Angela White, Avi Love, Britney Amber, Jane Wilde, India Summer, Whitney Wright, Seth Gamble, Ryan Driller, Cody Steele & Eric Masterson). The brand’s other mentions included VOD Site of the Year (DorcelVision.com), Erotic Site of the Year (DorcelClub.com), Couples Toy of the Year (MultiJoy), Adult Game of the Year (Retourne Moi!), and both Online Retailer of the Year – Full Range and International Retailer of the Year for DorcelStore.com.
Given its track record in elegance and innovation, it came as no surprise that XBIZ should honor the relaunched Wicked.com with Erotic Site of the Year.
