LOS ANGELES, CA – (November 18th, 2020) – The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) has revealed its 2020 awards nominees, and global adult entertainment innovator Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce Axel Braun, Brad Armstrong, jessica drake, and their talented collaborators have received major nominations in the areas of performance, direction, and production.
Parody king Axel Braun’s undisputed mastery of his chosen genre propelled his critical and commercial smash Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody to four major nominations – Best Director (Parody), Parody of the Year, Comedy of the Year, and Best Actress – the latter for Kenzie Taylor’s relevatory portrayal of the titular character.
Wicked Girl and sexual wellness educator jessica drake’s poignant lead performance in Brad Armstrong’s Editor’s Choice Lost Love was heralded in the Best Actress category. Fittingly, blockbuster creator Armstrong’s dynamic interpretation of the material was rewarded with a Best Director (Features) nomination.
In other feature categories, veteran filmmaker Mike Quasar’s intensely emotional Wicked Passions feature Love Song earned a Best Release nomination, while star Small Hands was recognized with Best Actor honors.
As with other adult ceremonies in 2020, the X-Rated Critics Organization Awards Show has shifted to an online format due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The winners will be announced in the weeks ahead at www.xrco.com.
