LOS ANGELES, CA – (April 27, 2018) – The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) has announced its 2018 award nominees, and global adult entertainment innovator Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce it has received twelve major nominations in the areas of performance, direction,  and crossover visibility in the mainstream media space.

Blockbuster creator Brad Armstrong’s explosive urban thriller Ethni*City received a nomination for Best Release, while his Editor’s Choice An Inconvenient Mistress – one of the year’s undisputed breakout hits – earned stars jessica drake and Ryan Driller Best Actress and Best Actor, respectively. A third Armstrong-directed release, the futuristic drama Takers, saw the veteran filmmaker/performer’s skillful work in front of the camera honored with a Best Actor nomination. Fittingly, the uniformly high quality and diversity of Armstrong’s output throughout the year was rewarded with a Best Director (Features) nomination.

Parody king Axel Braun’s undisputed mastery of his chosen genre propelled Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody to a trifecta of major nominations – Best Director (Parody), Parody of the Year, and Best Actress for Romi Rain’s incendiary performance as Wonder Woman.

Contract superstar and sexual wellness advocate jessica drake earned the organization’s coveted Mainstream Adult Media Favorite nomination in recognition of her high-profile work as a sex educator, her passion for social justice, and the continuing success of her award-winning instructional series jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex.

Iconic film star, writer, and moviemaker Stormy Daniels earned two nominations for her Wicked output – Best Director (Features) and Best Comedy (The Blonde Dahlia). Tommy Pistol’s performance in prolific filmmaker Mike Quasar’s Ingenue received a nomination for Best Actor.
