In a deck of cards the King of Hearts is the only one of the four Kings that has no facial hair. However, it was not always that way as he did have full facial hair like the others. In a redesign of the cards many years ago, the facial hair was lert off by mistake and has remained that way ever since.

There has been a lot of controversy over the idea of pineapple being on a pizza. Some like it, some don’t. But did you knpow this “Hawaiian” pizza was not created or invented in Hawaii by a Hawaiian? It was actually concocted in Canada by a Greek immigrant, pizza store owner, Sam Panopoulos in 1962.

Rome is so popular that there is a city named Rome on every continent except Antartica. There are several planetary names in more than one state that include Jupiter, Florida, Mars, Pennsylvania, Mercury, Alabama and Neptune, Ohio. Bu there is only one Earth and that is located in Texas.

The largest bill to ever go into circulation in the U.S. began in 1945 when the treasury Dept. issued the $10,000 bill. It remained in circulation until July 1969 when it was discontinued because of it’s lack of use. Really???

Speaking of money, every year the U.S. issue $974 million in new currency to replace old currency. However, that pales in comparison to the Parker Brothers. The owners of the board game Mono[poly, print $30 billion in fake currency every year.

Everybody, well almost, likes pound cake, but how did it come by that name. It dates back to the 1600’s and 1700’s when a lot of people could not read. They knew that each ingredient to make the cake was a pound so naming pound cake was the obvious answer.

Montpelier, Vermont is the only state capitol in the U.S. that does have a McDonald’s in town, or a Burger King for that matter. If you need a Big Mac or Whopper you have to drive over to Barre, Vermont the next town where they have both, and even a Wendy’s too!

Think you know spelling and numbers? Believe it or not, but no number from 1 to 999 uses the letter “a” in its word form. Until you write the word for one thousand that letter never shows up in word form.

The opposite sides of a dice cube will always add up to seven. If you look at a dice cube, you will see that one and six are opposites as are the two and five and three and four, all adding up to seven. Now roll ‘em.

Queen Elizabeth is a trained and licensed auto and truck mechanic. During WW II before she was royalty she served in the British military as an auto and truck mechanic and driver. To this day the Queen still has her mechanic license, but she is also the only person in Great Britain who can dive without a driver’s license.
