About Giana Taylor:
Giana Taylor founded Urban X Awards in 2008 with the help of Alexander Devoe. It was just an idea in her mind and thoughts on a piece of paper he encouraged her to take the leap and bring the show to life. It was then called Urban Spice Awards. That year she struggled through legal battles with the name and changed it to Urban X Awards the following year. Needless to say it’s 2026 and those ideas in her mind and thoughts on that piece of paper have transformed into a whole weekend of Honoring those in adult entertainment that may not be honored elsewhere. That weekend is called Urban X Weekend. Prior to entering the world of adult Giana Taylor was a former runway model, video vixen and reality star. She entered the adult industry in 2004 as a dancer, nude model, a production assistant and then starting her own Talent Agency Erotic Diva Models. It wasn’t long after starting her talent agency she was offered a position to become a director. Giana was a director of Black Ice and West Coast Productions. With all those tools under her belt starting an award show wasn’t as hard as she thought it would be, the support was amazing. The show has grown tremendously with the help and support of her team, there is continuous transformation. The team Giana started Urban X Awards with is currently the same team she still works with today they are Urban X Family not just the team. We will Continue to be the melting pot of the industry creating space for everyone. Creativity, Diversity, Unity……. That’s what she created
