This is one we found that has a Christmas theme but is on the dark side, very mysterious with twists and turns. It was done back in 2020 and did get several award nominations. Different for a Christmas themed film, but worthy of a look.

Survive the Night – Digital Playground – Director – Billy Visual – Cast – Alexis Fawx, Giselle Palmer, Sabina Rouge, Ivy LeBelle, Xander Corvus, Stirling Cooper.

This is not the way a family decides to spend the Christmas holiday together. Too many strange things begin to happen to make this as festive an occasion as they can considering the situation. Eric (Xander Corvus) and Carrie Stanfield (Sabina Rouge) gather to be with their gravely ill father and his live-in maid (Giselle Palmer) during the holiday season. A group of mysterious guests begin to arrive, claiming to be their father’s friends.

First, it’s an old hunting buddy (Stirling Cooper). Then, a sassy socialite (Alexis Fawx), followed by the father’s secret lover (Ivy Lebelle). Eric is suspicious of the group as his father has never mentioned any of them before.

When they find their father has been taken in his bed, Eric suspects the mysterious guests have come to steal his father’s fortune. One by one, the guests are taken. Who will survive? It is a story with a lot of twists and turns, some heart pounding sexual scenes andsome very dramatic, edge of your seat moments.

Not exactly your cheerful holiday themed movie, but it does fit into the category. It did receive several AVN nominations in 2022 for Grand Reel, Best Directing – Narrative Production, Best Makeup and Best Screenplay. So for something a little different for a Christmas theme movie, give this one a look.
