That has been a catch phrase for the soft drink company for years. The fact is they are very much correct. Not only does it go great with various kinds of chips, crackers, popcorn or many other snack foods, but it is also for a lot of non food use. So check these out and I am sure most you did not even know.

Clean your Toilet Bowl – The acidity in Coke makes it a good bet to clean rust nd scum spots from the bowl.

Oil Remover – The phosphoric acid will make those oil stains in the driveway go away. Just pour room temp Coke over the stain let it sit overnight and then next day wipe it gone.

Fertilize Plants – Flowers and plants, especially Begonias and Azaleas. Once again it’s the acidity that mixed with the soil makes it work.

Loosen Rusty Bolts, Screws, etc. – The small amount of phosphoric acid in Coke will help to loosen them and make them easier to remove.

Coin Polisher – Got some old coins you want to make look like new again? Just drop them in some Coke, the acidity will do the trick.

Paint Remover – The chemical makeup of Coca Cola makes it a viable option for removing paint from metal objects.

Sepia Photo Finishing – Have some old black and white photos you want to have a vintage look? Dip them in Coke and you will get a nice sepia tone photo. I tried this and it works.

Tile Grout – Don’t have grout cleaner then use some Coke. Just rub it over with a sponge, let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe the grout away.

Stop Hiccups – Quickest way to stop an attack of the hiccups? Gargle some Coca Cola for a couple of minutes and they will be gone!

Mold and Mildew from Clothes – Sounds crazy, but add a a can of Coke to your usual laundry detergent and it works extremely well and also helps removes stains.

And finally a couple food and recipe related ones. I have tried them both and always with absolutely great results.

Sloppy Joe’s – Add a can of Coke to the mixture and you have one very zesty, tasty Sloppy Joe topping.

Chili  & Barbecue Sauce – Add some Coke to either or both and the flavor will have a lot more tang and zest to it. I never make a BBQ sauce without adding some Coke…..it is deeee-lish!

There are a lot more uses for this long standing soft drink. You can check them all out at the link below.
