Sinn is participating in the Gender and Women’s Studies Sex Fest series of events.
(HOLLYWOOD, CA) Celebrated adult performer Sinn Sage (https://sinn-sage.com/) will be a featured participant in the University of Rhode Island’s LGBTQ+ Liberation Month event. Sinn is the keynote speaker and will visit Gender and Women’s Studies classes, as well as participate in three other events focused on sex-positive educational messaging beginning October 12th.
An award-winning performer, Sinn has made a name for herself as a unique and dynamic personality. Since launching her career as a model two decades ago, Sinn has grown from a performer to a multifaceted content producer. Further, Sinn has used her platform to inform people about the realities of being queer and a sex worker. Her purpose in life is to inspire others, eradicate harmful shame narratives, and open minds to the possibilities of experiencing sexual joy and liberation.
The LGBTQ+ Liberation Month programs and services will be open to faculty, staff, and students, as well as the community at large. Some of the discussions will be accessible to the public via Zoom rooms.
The Gender and Women’s Studies topics will explore sex work in particular due to the frequency of LGBTQ+ adults who engage in sex work. Additionally, they explore how the adult film world has developed over time and how queer people are changing the landscape of how films look and impact our communities. Sinn Sage will speak to all of these issues and much more. Sinn will also be visiting two Gender and Women’s Studies classes as a guest speaker, which speaks to the critical nature of sex work in academia.
Sinn’s schedule is as follows:Wednesday, October 12th @ 7-9 pm – How to Please a Woman with Sinn Sage and Dr. Annie RussellIn this workshop, the presenters will explore the various facets of pleasure with women. Thursday, October 13th @ 12:30-1:45 pm – GWS 310: Race, Class, and SexualityThursday, October 13th @ 2:00-3:15 pm – GWS 210: Queer StudiesIn these courses, Sinn Sage will discuss sex work and its relation to society, capitalism, feminism, race, sexuality, and gender. In an interactive format with class members, Sinn will engage participants in a lively exchange of ideas and the critical aspects of sex work in the world at large.
Thursday, October 13th @ 6-8 pm – Keynote Event with Sinn SageIn this keynote event, Dr. Annie Russell will interview Sinn Sage live. We’ll discuss Sinn’s extensive experience with and opinions on sex work, the industry, and society. Friday, October 14th @ 6-8 pm – Queer Sex Class with Sinn SageIn this event, Sinn will present on a variety of topics related to queer sex. The presentation will be extensive, covering a wide array of issues, and will also be highlighted by compilations of video clips to illustrate key points.
Friday, October 14th at 8-10 pm – Sex Toy BingoJoin Sinn Sage and Dr. Annie Russell as they present Sex Toy Bingo! Play regular bingo, but learn about sex-positive topics like OnlyFans, masturbation, orgasms, and more, and also win sex toy prizes while you learn! The grand prize will be a signed strap-on from Sinn Sage herself!
