Will Ryder Exposes Riley Reid’s Scary Side in Thriller

The paranormal thriller from Adam & Eve Pictures is garnering a cavalcade of great reviews for the star, the movie and writer/director Will Ryder.
“Riley Reid pulls off the best characterization of her career in this release,” remarked Art Koch of NightMoves Magazine. “It is a Riley Reid you have never seen before,” she outdoes herself and the cinematography, music, lighting and pacing are perfect and the special effects are fantastic. A superb production in every way.”

The Cursed XXX stars an all-star cast with Riley Reid, Kat Dior, Sarah Vandella, Misty Stone, Holly Hendrix, Nia Nacci, Chloe Scott, Victoria June, Maya Bijou, Ziggy Star, Lucky Starr and Veronica Valentine. The men are Brad Armstrong, Seth Gamble, Chad White, Mike Mancini, Frank Bukkwyd, Connor Kennedy, Eric John and James Bartholet.
Will Ryder is very happy with the early reviews. “We hope to get a lot of awards nominations this fall for our cast and crew because this movie is epic and January is more fun when you’re in contention. This movie is a seat-of-your pants thriller.”
After a fire destroys a women’s shelter killing all but one, the sexy dark truth about a cursed Hollywood cam-house is uncovered when a dead girl is found floating in the pool. Scared, beautiful cam girls become fearfully obsessed with new resident Abigail (Riley Reid) and when demonic spirits and paranormal activity invade the mansion, even the LAPD is baffled at finding the killer in a sexy who-dunnit mystery.
“I was blown away when I first read the script,” offered Riley Reid. “I mean my character Abigail could go in some really messed up directions and Will let me put a lot of subtext into my acting. This was new territory for me.”

Reid continued, “You really never know what a movie will look while you’re shooting it. I’m really happy I was cast in The Cursed XXX.”
“As a writer and director, you pray that you’re making something unique, something you’ve perhaps never done before in hopes that your cast will like the script. That’s my first goal and first fear,” stated Ryder.
“Shooting a big feature movie is often a mess in that scenes are shot out of sequence, lighting and camera issues take time and energy away from the concentration and stamina of cast members and a big story like this requires our full attention every single second. There’s a lot to keep track of,” stated X-Play co-producer Scott David.
“Plus we have no option or plan for failure which is always a real possibility,” Ryder concluded. “So when I see reviews like these coming in, it just validates you as a writer, producer and director and also as a casting director because you picked the perfect actors to play these roles and I have to say Brad Armstrong is fantastic in this movie.”

The Cursed XXX is in stores on DVD now and also on VOD and will be showcased at the Heaven & Hell Halloween party Saturday, October 27th in Hollywood.
