(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood walked into the 2026 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) with nine nominations as a producer and for his scene work and DVDs, but walked out with something much greater.
On Sunday night, the glitzy and glamorous TEAs, complete with multiple star-studded red carpets, happened at the Avalon in Hollywood, and the turnout was tremendous. Ricky Greenwood was presented with one of the biggest honors of the night—one of two Lifetime Achievement Awards. Ricky was presented with the Behind the Camera Lifetime Achievement Award by Jessica Drake and Zariah Aura, who referred to him as “a director who is so amazing to all of us, treats us well, and makes amazing fucking porn.” When taking to the stage to accept his award, Ricky spoke about how the trans genre has changed over the past 10 years, what an amazing journey it’s been, and that there’s still work to do to advance and grow.
“When I heard I was getting this award, I was blown away. With 10 years in the industry, it’s not a long time for an award like this. But I was reminded about the impact I’ve made, and I will continue on this path while I’m in this industry. Thank you, Steven, Kristel, and everyone at Grooby for the award and an amazing show,” says Ricky Greenwood.
