(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood has had a banner year that’s been reflected with 52 AVN Awards nominations that he garnered along with his casts and crews.

When the 2023 AVN Awards were announced, Ricky Greenwood scanned the list and kept counting until he had the longest list of nominations he’d received. Ricky’s up for Best Directing Portfolio – Narrative for his body of work this year, along with Grand Reel and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for Adult Time’s “Grinders.” “Grinders” also garnered him and Michael Hues a Best Editing Nod.

Three of his projects snagged Best Screenplay. “MissaX’s One Last Kiss” earned Ricky a Best Screenplay – Featurette, and Adult Time’s “The Bargain” earned Maddy Barton the same nom. Shawn Alff captured a Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series for “Grinders.”

Ricky’s crews were also nominated. Grinders scored Best Art Direction, Best Soundtrack, Best Cinematography, and Best Hair & Makeup. “The Bargain” and “One Last Kiss” also scored Best Hair & Makeup nods.

And his casts walked away with four Best Actor – Featurette noms, two Best Actress – Featurette noms, two Best Leading Actor noms, four Best Supporting Actor noms, one Best Supporting Actress nom, two Best Leading Actress noms, Best Non-Sex Performance, and Best Thespian – Trans/X.
