The Best of Classic Cougars – Western Visuals – Director – Various – Cast – Zornya Dreams, Kay Parker, Juliet Anderson, Tanya Foxx, Drea and others

Just recently we featured “Classic Blonde Bombshells” which was a collection scenes from the 70’s and 80’s featuring some of porn’s classic blondes. Now Western Visuals, who were one of the top companies back in the day have released this one featuring more stars from the past. Included in this mix of scenes is one with Zornya Dreams, a very sexy German import, who had a pretty decent run in American porn in the early 80’s.
There are six different scenes in this release and they are all very different and cover a big variety of styles. The first scene has Kay Parker and another gal in two separate scenes that take place at the same time, so the cameras switch back and forth between the two couples and this is explosive. Then comes a scene with Juliet Anderson in what becomes a very sensual, somewhat long, but intense solo masturbation scene that really captures the essence of Ms. Anderson and why she was so popular back in the day.
Next you have a three way interracial scene with a redhead who we could not identify, can you? The thing in this scene was that through editing they repeat a few of the shots to make the scene last longer. There is a segment with the late Bill Margold and Drea in a heavy dom/submissive encounter. German star Zornya Dream gets into an outdoor three way loaded with some real POV style camera work. Tanya Foxx gives her all in a pretty steamy bedroom scene. Unless you are a real porn aficionado it will be fun trying to guess who some of the other ladies are that appear in various shots and the same for the guys who perform.
The clips have not be altered or cleaned up so the clarity, sharpness and vibrant look etc. may not be as great as it is today, but it is the original clips just as they were made back then. It was also a time when both the men and women had bush surrounding their privates and not the gym toned bodies which actually added to the physical realism of the day.
My main complaint with this release is the same as it was with “Classic Blonde Bombshells” and why I did not rate it higher. There are no credits whatsoever at the beginning or end of the DVD. The viewer has no way of knowing who all the players are or from what film the clip comes from. I would hope that Western Visuals will correct this in future releases of this type. It would make it much more of a selling point to fans of the old classics and performers from back then.
That said, I still do recommend getting hold of “The Best of Classic Cougars” if you want to enjoy some good scenes from porn’ s golden past with some well known and talented former adult stars.
