Stockholm Syndrome – James Deen Productions – Director – James Deen – Cast – Remy LaCroix, Kalina Ryu, Nina Elle, Natalie Heart, Cassidy Klein, James Deen, Steven St. Croix, Jack Vegas, Danny Wylde, David Lord, others.
Good story with some excellent visuals and a solid cast that bring this drama to life. Deen is Ian a nomad who makes his way across the country by committing petty crimes and getting away with them. However, things take a major wrong turn when he kidnaps a girl named Juliette, very well played by Remy LaCroix. She is what is known as a trophy wife, a woman who has it all but now her life suddenly has changed. What becomes even more evident as that now, in what is known as “Stockholm Syndrome”, Juliette has fallen in love with her captor Ian. So how does this all turn out for them and those around them?
Over the opening credits we see Deen committing a variety of petty crimes and then it fades to Juliette (Remy St. Croix) coming home. She looks very plain and far from the glamorous girl we usually see as she puts away groceries. In the meantime up stairs her husband Roy (Steve St. Croix) looking scruffy with the beard, gray hair, etc. is having an encounter with his secretary Mrs. Harper (Kalina Ryu). Juliette goes upstairs and is shocked by what she sees, Roy is equally shocked that she questions him and makes her say she is sorry, but in a typical Deen styled rougher, dominating way. Then we see Roy’s business partner Charles (David Lord) leaving his home and being held up by Ian (Deen). He tells him that Roy will pay anything to get her back and that it’s the wife he should go after and blackmail Roy.
Next we see Roy picking up a note slid under the door saying to wait for a call as Ian has now kidnapped Juliette. We see him at night driving and then uncovering her in the back of the car. He talks to her trying to get across what is going on and tells her to just cooperate and she will be allowed to go home with minimal injuries. Next it is morning and Roy waiting for the call. It comes and the demand is for $20 million and where his wife can be found if he delivers the money. If he doesn’t that is the end of Juliette.
Then comes a meeting at his home with the cops and Detective Reed (Jack Vegas) about how they will deal with Ian and get Juliette back. Against Roy’s objections a plan is put in place, but it will change when Roy demands his men be part of it. From this point on the story takes some very different turns and directions along with a lot of sex. The storyline and plot are never lost as the game is played out in this kidnap scheme and what happens with Juliette and Ian and everyone else involved in this thriller. As we normally do, we won’t tell you anymore but leave it to you to find out and enjoy that will have you guessing along the way when it comes to the end result and who gets what.
Two things that really make this film stand out. First, the on location settings and backdrops add a big touch of realism to the scenes. Second, the entire cast is terrific and with the very experienced acting chops of Steven St. Croix, James Deen, Remy La Croix leading the way the characters love them or hate them, become very real and very believable. Then add in a very well developed script, a fluid pacing, clean, clear well thought out cinematography, the nighttime driving scenes are very eerie. Finally, the sex scenes and they are steamy, erotic, powerful, dominating and explosive whether they are in the bedroom or the out of doors. Put it all together and you have a winner with this latest from Deen. “Stockholm Syndrome” is great couples entertainment that I very highly recommend getting hold of and enjoying.
