(Los Angeles, CA / September 16, 2026) – Reborn Cinema’s Reina Reborn is the subject of a new AVN feature, “From Fantasy to Reality: Bringing Reina Reborn to Life,” which looks at how Karim “Ballz” Z turned an ambitious adult-film fantasy into a full-scale production.
The article traces the project from Karim’s first approach to Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q of Pig Machine Productions through the making of a 90-minute feature with luxury locations, a female-forward ensemble cast, a 16-song soundtrack coordinated throughout the film and a six-figure budget. Vegas calls the feature “probably the coolest thing I’ve ever made,” while Siouxsie Q describes it as “a legendary feat of production.”
AVN also highlights Karim’s active creative role as the film’s writer, funder, director and first-time producer, along with the crew behind the finished project, including editor Karl Marxxx, lead music artist Lucas Hickory, director of photography Michael Vegas and producer Siouxsie Q. The feature also notes the project’s climate commitment, with more than $10,000 donated so far to three environmental charities through proceeds from the film.
