Over the years a lot of various products that used to be made here have shifted to various points in other parts of the world. However, there are still many familiar and popular products that continue to be totally homegrown to this day and are not leaving the U.S. to be made elsewhere. Here are just a few of the products  totally made and manufactured here in the U.S.A.

Weber Grills – The company began in 1952 and has continued to make their outdoor grills from their home plant in Palatine, Illinois. They are still one of the most sought after by families who love to cook outdoors.

Airstream Trailers – The luxurious aluminum trailers have been manufactured since 1931 right here in the U.S.A. at the home plant in Jackson center, Ohio and employs 500 people  to turn out these models.

Zippo Lighters – The reusable metal lighter in it’s various forms was first made in 1933 in a small room in Bradford, Pennsylvanie. Today these popular lighters are still made in a factory in Bradford and are sold around the world.

Kitchenaid Mixers – The company has been around for over 100 years making a variety of kitchen products over the years, Today everything is made from start to finish at the Kitchenaid plant in Greenville, Ohio.

Crayola Crayons – The company was founded in 1885 and has been the bell weather for kids, teachers, art student and more with all of the various crayon colors and products over the years. Today everything with Crayol0o is manufactured at their plant in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Stetson Hats – The company y was begun after the civil War and today is the only company that makes cowboy hats, and others, strictly in the U.S.A. and nowhere else. The company’s main plant sits on 9 acres in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Louisville Sluggers – These baseball bats have been made since 1884 and gone through obvious changes. While there are other name brand baseball bats, the Louisville Slugger is the only one still made in its original location and plant in Louisville, Kentucky.

Benjamin Moore Paint – It all began in Brooklyn, New York in 1883 as the idea of Mr. Moore, an Irish immigrant. Today the company can create more than 3,500 colors and it is still all manufactured in Brooklyn.

Pyrex Glassware – This company began back in 1915 turning out modern, up to date glassware that became a standard in home kitchens. In 1998 the compny was sold to coring glass with the agreement that all manufacturing would stay in the U.S. and it has in the main factory in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Igloo Coolers – The company was begun back in 1947 in Houston, Texas. Since then the companies sold billions of coolers of various sizes and descriptions. Every igloo cooler is manufactured at a 1.4 million square foot factory in Katy, Texas.

Those are just some of the items that are still being manufactured solely in the United States and nowhere else. But that is just a tip of the iceberg.
