Penthouse Celebrates 2023 with Star Power Naming ‘Triple Threat’ Television Celebrity Renee Olstead as the New Year’s First Pet of the Month

LOS ANGELES (January 3, 2023) – Penthouse Magazine is announcing their Pet of the Month for January 2023 is actress, model, and singer Renee Olstead. Best known for her roles on the CBS sitcom Still Standing, and ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, the television star who enjoys searching for retro collectibles, frequenting flea markets, and attending classic car shows, says posing for Penthouse is one of the most daring things she’s ever done.

“Posing nude is still new territory for me,” Olstead revealed. “But I’ve been collecting vintage Penthouse paraphernalia for quite a while now and jumped at the chance for an interview when Penthouse Photo Director Sam [Phillips] slid into my DMs.”

The petite, busty brunette appears on the cover of Penthouse Magazine’s January/February 2023 publication entitled “The Pet of the Year Playoff Issue” sporting provocative western wear complete with a black hat, chaps, fringed halter top, and her distinguished gold Penthouse key.

“We are honored to present Renee Olstead as you’ve never seen her before,” exuded Sam Phillips. “Renee’s got this old-school Hollywood glamour look mixed with a cool vintage outlaw cowboy vibe, and I think it’s captured perfectly in her 16-page Pet of the Month pictorial.”

“Our January Pet Rene Olstead kicks off the New Year, and we could not be more excited about this model,” remarked Penthouse Magazine’s Creative Director Drew Rosenfeld. “A tiny package, standing at only 5’3’’ – But she offers enormous talent.”

Said Olstead, “As an adult, I’ve worn many hats – Child actress, teen soap star, singer. I worked briefly in theatrical management and PR before going back to school for my Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Eventually I’m hoping to write.”

“Renee’s story is amazing!” added Phillips. “She is one of the coolest (if not THE coolest) chicks I have ever met. You have to read about her Hollywood accomplishments at an early age to really appreciate where she’s chosen to go next in her career, which is Penthouse Magazine. What a thrill for us!”

“As I recall we worked outside in the desert all day, in 100-degree weather,” recollected Rosenfeld. “We were all very fatigued from the heat, but not Renee.  As we moved from each set of this old western town she kept up her high energy and her beautiful glow. In fact, she brought so much to the lens she kept us all completely captivated. As a professional actor and model she knows exactly how to charm the camera.”

“Renee has all the qualities we look for,” said Penthouse CEO Moose. “Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is also kind, genuine, down-to-earth, and witty with a great sense of humor. Beyond all of that, her talent is off the charts. She is an amazing performer with an incredible singing voice, very professional in every sense, and it translates throughout all her photos. We are honored to welcome Renee to our family of Penthouse Pets. Ringing in the New Year with Renee Olstead on the cover of Penthouse Magazine is a harbinger of more great things to come in 2023.”
