Now that the 2016 and 24th Annual NightMoves Adult Awards Show is in the books, the awards season officially is underway. next up will be the XBIZ and AVN awards in January 2017 and then the XRCO awards in April 2017.

As the third oldest awards show in the industry behind AVN and XRCO, NightMoves has established a lot of firsts since we began in 1993. We were the first to allow fan votes, the first to use on line voting and gave the very first awards in the business to a multitude of stars over the years, Jenna Jameson, Bree Olsen, Chanel Preston, Carter Cruise, Gina Lynn, Tera Patrick just to name a few. While the XRCO is industry only and AVN has their Expo in Las Vegas, the NightMoves awards show is a four day weekend event at various gentleman’s clubs in Tampa Bay, Fan Fest, parties and more. For the stars, many who have returned several times, it becomes a “working vacation” for them and a chance to really meet their fans up close and personal.

In those twenty four shows we have literally had the who’s who of porn on our stage every year as presenters, performers, hosts. hostesses and emcees.The Hedgehog, Ron Jeremy, happened to be in Tampa for a signing and did our very first show in 1993 and has been part of every show since then, never missing one. Also, in those twenty four years of awards shows, NightMoves has only had to cancel, or reschedule the show once at that was due to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. That show would take place in November 2001.

We have constantly, year after year, tried our best to streamline and improve the show, add award categories and add extra entertainment and events like Fan Fest. We have added special awards like the Triple Play award, First Choice award, Miss Congeniality award and more that are exclusive with us. We have presented the show at a variety of venues throughout Tampa Bay (ten different ones over the years). Our voting numbers on line for the various categories have hit or come close to the 400,000 mark the past two years and our Twitter reach has been off the charts with staggering numbers in seven figures.

Now, with our twenty fourth show over and done, we begin to make plans for our 25th, Silver Anniversary, show in October 2017. All I can tell you is that it will be something very special and may be the greatest show NightMoves has ever done. So stay tuned!
