‘Love In the Digital Age’ Earns 8 Nominations, Including Best Comedy, Best Director, & Best Screenplay! |
NOVEMBER 19, 2018 — New Sensations/Digital Sin received 28 combined nominations for the 2019 AVN Awards. Among its honored films, the acclaimed romantic-comedy “Love In the Digital Age” leads with eight nominations, including Best Comedy, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
Written and directed by Jacky St. James, “Love In the Digital Age” marks the celebrated filmmaker’s triumphant return to romance and is the first release for New Sensations Romance since 2014’s AVN award-winning “Second Chances.” “AVN has supported me in my career from my first year in the business – with a nomination for ‘Dear Abby’ – to present day,” Jacky St. James said. “I was thrilled to see the recognition for ‘Love In the Digital Age’ across all facets of production. Paige’s portrayal of Sara puts her in the running for Best Actress – Feature. Logan Pierce, who plays her once embittered love interest in the film, is also nominated for Best Actor in the category. AVN award-winning cinematographer and editor Eddie Powell is nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Editing for his outstanding work on “Love In the Digital Age.” The film’s fun and uplifting score is also up for Best Soundtrack.
