MONTREAL, Quebec (Nov. 18, 2022) – Mile High Media and its affiliated brands XEmpire and Bellesa have received a combined 38 nominations for the 2023 XBIZ Awards.

The nominations recognize the notable work of the companies’ acclaimed directors and its studios, Bellesa Films, Bellesa Plus, Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video, Icon Male, Noir Male, TransSensual, Hard X, Lesbian X and Erotica X.

The awards, which honor excellence in adult entertainment, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023 at the Hollywood Palladium.

Hard X and TransSensual led the way with six nominations each. Hard X earned a nod for Gonzo Movie of the Year for “DP Me 13,” starring Kenna James and Lilly Hall, as well as Gonzo Series of the Year for its wildly popular “Super Cute” series. The studio also earned three nominations for Best Sex Scene – Gonzo for Anna Claire Clouds, Freya Parker and Mick Blue for “Sexual Icons 2;” Kenna James, Mick Blue and Ramon Nomar, “DP Me, Vol. 13;” and Xxlayna Marie and Zac Wild, “Super Cute 14.”

TransSensual earned five nominations for Trans Movie of the year for “My TS Stepdaughter 3,” with Crystal Thayer and Jenna Gargles; “My TS Stepsister 6,” with Anna de Ville and Dee Williams; “TS Massage 5,” with Ariel Demure and Spencer Bradley; “TS Taboo 8,” with Emma Rose and Anna Foxxx; and “TS Taboo 7,” with Kenna James and Korra del Rio.

Mile High Media also earned a nomination in the prestigious Studio of the Year category.

Sweetheart Video tallied five nominations with two for All Girl Movie of the Year for “Girls Love Strap Ons 4,” and “Women Loving Women 2,” and two more for All Girl Series of the Year for the highly-charged “Girls Love Strap Ons,” and “Lesbian Adventures: Older Women, Younger Girls.”

The acclaimed gay studio Noir Male, which features men of color, was next with three nominations for Gay All-Sex Release of the Year for “Hardcore Hookups 3,” and “Sexual Healing 5.” Mile High’s Icon Male gay studio also earned a nomination for Best Gay Sex Scene for Michael Boston, Dante Colle and Killian Knox in “Bad Daddies.”

Erotica X, earned three nominations, including two for Best Sex Scene – All-Sex for Gizelle Blanco and Mike Mancini in “Pure Desire 9,” and Alexis Tae and Zac Wild in “Pleasure Principle. Erotica X received a nod for Vignette Movie of the Year for “Pleasure Principle.”

Couples’ studio Sweet Sinner was also cited in Vignette Movie of the Year category for “One Night Affair.” Also earning nominations were Bellesa Films, Bellesa Plus and Lesbian X.

The studios’ acclaimed directors Mike Quasar, Mason and Jacky St. James were each nominated for Director of the Year – Non Feature, while Ricky Greenwood earned nominations for Director of the Year – Gay and Director of the Year – Trans.
