Arresting Officer Disgusted by Taylor Lianne Chandler Intersex Status

Washington, DC — August 27, 2017 — Almost three years after Olympic hero Michael Phelps was arrested for Drinking Under the Influence, his alleged lover, intersex sign language interpreter, author, activist and Vivid porn star Taylor Lianne Chandler was pulled over and arrested for a DUI in Arlington, VA and says the arresting officer upon finding out who she was after finger-printed, gave her the bum’s rush with a look of absolute disgust.

“The only way I can explain it was going from being looked at like a tall, blonde, attractive woman to being looked at like I was a freak in every sense of the word,” says Taylor. “All of the sudden they wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible so not to be around me a minute more. The tension in the air was palpable.”

It happened at 1:50am on July 29^th, after celebrating her friend Shane’s achieving his doctorate in psychology which consisted of an evening at a bar where Taylor consumed two drinks and then a hearty pizza dinner. Taylor says the two drinks were consumed by 10:30pm and was sober at the time she was pulled over for neglecting to pay heed to a left turn sign.

“The arresting officer was hostile from the moment I opened the window,” says Taylor.  “It’s like he was determined I was drinking and driving. It’s easy to be confused by the flashing construction signs and detours, along with the fact it was raining.”

“I have been charged with a DUI just like him (Michael Phelps). It has temporarily derailed my life. Regardless I am still calm and happy in the midst of this current crisis. Today they will set a court date for this to go to trial. Unlike a cis gender person, when involved with the police, there is a fear that you will be harmed, ridiculed, and treated inhumanely. The officer, Noonan, was hostile from jump and treated me unfairly and rudely. It made a bad situation one 100 times worse. Pentagon police have nothing better to do in the morning when all the staff is gone then harass people and make something that is not there. The irony of these events three years later is not lost on me. I am in a situation now where the truth will not help me because it is my word against his all over again. We don’t live in a world where it is safe to be intersex or on the gender spectrum outside of binary. Just like three years ago I will be ok. Unlike three years ago I will not allow myself to slip into the darkness. I will hold my head high and get through this one day at a time.”

Taylor is currently waiting to stand trial.

“This has been a very humbling experience. It’s very different being intersex or transgender dealing with law enforcement,” says Taylor. “I’m truly sorry for putting myself in this predicament in the first place. I hope to come out of this on the other side not disappointing my father, family and fans.”

Since her tryst with the Olympiad broke and became the scandal of the 2014, Chandler starred in the Vivid movie, “Going for the Gold,” wrote erotica for Riverdale Books and has been an advocate for the LGBTQ community as well as speaking out about her struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder and depression.

Taylor’s interviews and articles about her are in over 100 countries and translated into over 45 different languages.

Taylor left DC in May of 2015 and moved to Florida to escape the day to day scrutiny of media and have some privacy.
