(Los Angeles, CA / September 16, 2026) – Marica Hase looks back on 26 years in front of the camera in a new Daily Sport UK interview, “Midweek 5 Minutes with Marica Hase”, sharing the unlikely beginnings of her modeling career, her move from Japan’s adult industry to the U.S. and a few of the passions that keep life interesting away from work.

Speaking with Miles Moore, Hase recalls landing a fashion magazine cover shortly after graduating from school and discovering that the camera brought out a side of her that everyday life did not. Now 26 years into modeling and 17 years into her adult career, she reflects on becoming one of the first Japanese adult performers to successfully establish herself in the American industry.

“At the time, I was very shy, but I felt much more comfortable in front of the camera than I did away from it,” Hase said. “So I decided, ‘No matter what, I want to live my life in front of the camera.’ And now, I’ve ended up working as an international.”

Marica Hase is a Japanese-born international performer, model and media personality whose career spans Japan, the United States, Europe and Asia. After beginning in Japanese television, film and magazine modeling, Hase transitioned into adult entertainment and built a rare cross-market career, later. becoming the only Japanese performer to be named a Penthouse Pet in the United States.
