Donates to Colin Kaepernick Charity

New York, NY November 22, 2017— Retired adult star turned model/actress/entrepreneur, Layton Benton, paid it forward last week on popular, New York City, terrestrial radio show, The Breakfast Club, during their radiothon #Change4Change charity donating $500 to for Colon Kaepernick’s organization.

The Breakfast Club raised over $700,000 for The Gathering for Justice Organization and ran an 18-hour radiothon. The organization was founded by Harry Belafonte in 2005 and sponsors The Women’s March, Justice League NYC and Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights campaign.  Celebrities that donated include Eminem, Dr. Oz, Diddy, Kevin Hart and Busta Rhymes.

“I actually donate to charity quite often because I believe it’s good karma, I’ve been very fortunate in my life and I want good things to happen to other people too,” says Layton. “But this is the first time my philanthropy has been out in public, I usually believe in giving for the sake of giving which means donating in private, but I love host Angela Yee and wanted to participate in this special day of great radio. I am proud to be a part of #Change4Change and I am moved by the amount of money that was raised by The Breakfast Club, they are an amazing group of people who always spread the love.”
