About Bombshell Beauty Lab:

Bombshell is the brainchild of former Manhattan Madam, Kristin Davis who is best known for running a high-end escort agency that was shuttered in the wake of the fall of former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer.  Kristin has always had a passion for nails and the beauty industry and decided to start a salon after serving 18 months in federal confinement in 2015-2016. Kristin saw Bombshell as a way to rehabilitate her life and to provide employment opportunities for others coming out of prison- knowing the obstacles they face searching for jobs.

About Kristin Davis:

Kristin Davis, best known by her infamous moniker, The Manhattan Madam, has a lengthy resume which includes former Vice President of a 5 billion-dollar hedge fund, a multi-million dollar escort agency entrepreneur, politician, advocate and writer. She has published two books and been featured on an episode for Lifetime TV. She has done hundreds of television and radio interviews. While incarcerated, Davis wrote extensively for xojane.com and although her column was widely popular in the real world it led to a number of problems within the prison. Now that Davis is finally free she is able to talk to members of the press and is coming out in full force to talk about the injustice and inhumanities she experienced and has seen from behind the prison walls.

Davis served four months in solitary confinement on Rikers Island and came out to run as a protest candidate for Governor in 2010. In 2013, Davis secured the Libertarian nomination for NYC Comptroller, a race Elliot Spitzer jumped into, and was arrested shortly thereafter for sales of a controlled substance. Davis served a total of 18 months in custody and is being released May 23, 2016
