LOS ANGELES (January 26, 2015) – Adult superstar James Deen was honored with four accolades at the 2015 AVN Awards, including Favorite Male Porn Star. Deen also received Mainstream Star of the Year for the second straight time at the annual industry gala. The event was held at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on January 24.
The category Favorite Male Porn Star is part of the Fan Awards segment of the AVN Awards, as voted on by fans. The award, as well as Mainstream Star of the Year, comes after a year of numerous appearances and media coverage on outlets such as New York Magazine, Buzzfeed, TMZ, Perez Hilton, Beta Beat magazine, the UK’s Daily Telegraph, and others.
“It is super awesome to be recognized by both the fans and the AVN Awards voters,” said James Deen. “I don’t know who those people are, but it is nice to see that my audience runs the gamut.”
