This week we present a young lady who is a nominee for Best New Starlet for our upcoming NightMoves Adult Awards show in October. She has a very European sounding name, but she is from the states. Only in the business a year she is one to watch. Her name is Gia Derza.
A striking brunette, Gia was born in Mayfield, Ohio on December 15, 1998. She grew up in the Buckeye state, went to school there and even put in some time at Kent State University before deciding on her career path, which was the adult industry. Her route to the business is quite the story.
Seems that Gia has always had an interest in porn dating back to her days in middle school. She would watch it, liked it, learned from it and at fourteen lost her virginity. Gia says that ever since the eighth grade she knew that she wanted to be a porn star. Now she is making the most of that chance.
It was while she was enrolled at Kent State that she realized the college beat wasn’t for her so the next step was taking shot at the adult industry. The change all began in December 2017 when she did some amateur scenes for petergirls.com. from there she moved into commercial porn shooting her first scene for Jules Jordan.
That first film for Jordan, “Slut Puppies #12” really gave her career a kick start. That was in March 2018 and since then Gia has been on quite roll. She has shot additional scenes for Jules Jordan, plus Evil Angel, Sweetheart Video, 3rd Degree, Digital Sin, Girlfriends Films and more. Along the way Gia has shown she has some decent acting chops also.
In addition to a variety of scenes in different genres like interracial, lesbian and more, Gia has also lent her talents to a lot of hot web scenes for twistys.com, girlsway.com, tushy.com, realitykings.com and others. Needless to say this young ladies talents, looks and enthusiasm has brought her a long way.
With all that has taken place for Gia over the past year there were a few things that really has made her first year one to remember. First she was signed by agent Mark Speigler and is now proudly a Spiegler Girl. Second she was nominated for the Best New Starlet award by AVN. Now she is also a nominee for our NightMoves Awards in the Best New Starlet category.
