In our continuing feature, “Girl of the Week” we have a vivacious blonde, whose latest DVD we just reviewed here on AAN this past week. She is the very outgoing, very talented and very striking Aaliyah Love.
The blonde beauty was born in Chicago on June 11, 1981. She is of French/Lithuanian descent and grew up and attended school in the Chicago area. As a young girl she enjoyed spending time with horses, and competed at shows earning ribbons against competitors of all ages. She got a degree and was teaching pre schoolers. However, she faced financial hardships and headed for the East Coast to try something new. That something new would change her life.
The petite 5’2” became a webcam model, but things didn’t go that well at first. While she was doing okay there was something missing. So in 2009,Aaliyah headed for the west coast and once she got to California things changed in a big way. She started doing webcam modeling again only this time she developed a reputation for focusing strictly on softcore modeling and solo masturbation performances. That would lead to appearing in scenes for lesbian, bondage, and fetish production companies such as Girlfriends Films and FM Concepts.
Her web popularity really took off in 2012 when she was named as Twisty’s Treat of the Month. Along the way there have been a number of award nominations from AVN, XBIZ and others. Some of those include Web Babe/Starlet of the Year 2011 YNOT, Best Solo Girl Website (AaliyahLove.com), 2011 XBIZ, Porn Star Site of the Year (AaliyahLove.com), 2012 XBIZ , Web Babe/Starlet of the Year, 2013 AVN, Best Solo Girl Website (AaliyahLove.com) and more during that time and since then.
In 2013 Aaliyah, to the delight of fans, announced that she would start doing hardcore boy/girl scenes. Once she began doing these scenes, it didn’t take long to recognize the talent she possessed, not only sexually, but also as an actress. Since adding boy/girl to her resume she has done scenes for most of the leading companies. Once again the award nominations started to come her way including Best Actress, Best Boy/Girl Scene, Female Performer of the Year and others.
Then here in 2015 Aaliyah’s talents were honored with wins from XBIZ for, Best Scene: Parody Release (with Tommy Pistol) for ‘American Hustle XXX‘, she was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress for that film. In addition 2015 has also brought another win her way, from AVN for Best Solo Girl Website (AaliyahLove.com) which Aaliyah keeps going even with her heavy schedule of films.
She is a big favorite with the folks at Girlfriends Films, but she has also done work with Adam & Eve, Wicked Pictures, Evil Angel, Smash Pictures, Vivid Entertainment and more. While 2015 has been a very successful year for the bubbly blonde, the future looks even brighter with some outstanding projects . For now I suggest you get hold of the parody “American Hustle XXX” and also a brand new release that just hit the stores this past week “Aaliyah Love – All You Need is Love” from AE Films.
