Talk Derby to Me – Sweetheart Video – Director – Ricky Greenwood – Cast – Joanna Angel, Katrina Jade, Arabelle Raphael, Sovereign Syre, Elsa Jean, Carmen Caliente and Stoya.

As someone who was involved with the Roller Derby back in the days of Charlie O’Connell. Ken Monte, Joan Weston, Gerry Murray, Annie Calvello and others, I was very anxious to see and review this production. While this is the modern day flat track all girl version of the Derby, I was not disappointed. Porn films with a sports theme are relatively rare simply because of what is involved with a particular sport, but Greenwood manages to get the right feel and derby atmosphere with this release. This is action packed in more ways than one and has awards written all over it. The combination of Joanna and Stoya is one of those magical connections that really pulls this film together.

The story line here revolves around Allison Decker (Joanna Angel) and Suzy Weston (Stoya) who is now the coach of the Los Angeles Pussy Posse (it is porn you know!). At one time these two were teammates known as Bruiser and Crusher and they ruled the game. In addition to that they were also lovers until an injury and a move to New York by Allison ended their relationship. Now Suzy has returned as the coach of the Posse.  Making things more dramatic and emotional is that Allison returns and wants to get back on the team and get things back with Suzy the way the once were. The reuniting of these two creates all kinds of powerful emotions both on and off the track.

Right from the start with the music, the newspaper clippings, photos of the “old days” you know the action is going to be hard hitting. Then we see Stoya with her team going over things and taking time with the bespectacled Youngblood (Elsa Jean) and Supervixen (Gia Page).  Stoya is no pushover and a hard taskmaster with the girls because so much is on the line. Then it all begins to change when Allison shows up at a practice after being gone for so long. The initial meeting is friendly and there is an air of joy between these two. Just from the conversation and the looks you know that there is a lot more that will come out of this reunion.

Allison wants to rejoin the team and help them win, but Suzy is a little hesitant about it for several reasons. In the end she gives in with conditions to let Allison come back on the team. Introducing her to the rest of the squad is not met with a lot of excitement and fanfare, but the girls know that Allie Kat can help them. There is so much more, but rather than give the rest away, I will let you find out for yourselves just how the Los Angeles Pussy Posse deals with everything and how it plays into their work as a team.

There are four scorching sex scenes in the film that include a rousing three way in the locker room with Carmen Caliente, Katrina Jade and Gia Page. There is a very hot encounter with Sovereign Syre and Arabelle Raphael. A real sizzler between Elsa Jean and Joanna Angel is also in the mix. Then there is the connection between Stoya and Joanna and this encounter is the highlight of the sexual goings on. These two have a certain magic and chemistry between them, so much so that it shines even before they get intimate and then after. It is truly a sensual, passionate, intense, loving union in every way.

The writing and direction from Greenwood is crisp, believable and well performed. The camera work, lighting, music and backdrops are all very well done to capture just what goes on with a bunch of competitive lady skaters. Overall, this hits on all cylinders and will be enjoyed by everyone, male or female. As I said at the top, this is a film that has award noms coming its way. The entire cast brings their ‘A’ game showcasing a variety of talents that make “Talk Derby To Me” a must see film. Kudos go to Ricky Greenwood, Sweetheart Video, the entire cast and crew for a job well done.
