Lost Love – Wicked Pictures – Director – Brad Armstrong – Cast – jessica drake,  Jessie Lee, Kira Noir, Penny Pax, Brad Armstrong, Donnie Rock, Ryan Driller, Small Hands

 ***** 5 stars

This latest collaboration between Armstrong  and drake is a very taut, dramatic, emotional and realistic look in regards to the loss of a loved one. Anyone who has had the unfortunate dealings with the passing of a loved one will be able to relate to this story about Beth (jessica drake) who is totally blindsided by the sudden death of her husband (Ryan Driller). It is a heart wrenching time that she is now faced with and must deal with in ways she never imagined. The fact that his death was so sudden makes the challenge even harder. To hopefully find answers, find herself and be able to move on with her own life she joins a grief counseling group. She feels that being around other with the same problems and being able to talk openly will help her get over her loss and be able to move on. But soon even more questions arise as her time in this group becomes more than just a comforting shoulder to cry on.

Right from the start you know that this going to be something very special in regards to adult entertainment. With the narrative of this plot driven vehicle the story becomes a very strong focal point for the sexual scenes that take place. We see beth look back upon her life at its sudden change and we are taken back to Beth and her husband. It is at his funeral that her mind wanders back to what was and we get to experience what these two had as a couple sexually in a very strong scene. From there she gets involved with the grief counseling group and all seems to go well. However at home alone she has one of her husband’s suits laid out on the bed and once again her mind begins to work and we get a masturbation scene that is very effective. As she continues with the group and begins to make some headway, she is also beginning to experience some sexual thoughts and trying to fight them. She discusses things with her sister (Penny Pax, in a solid supporting role) trying to figure out what is the right thing. There are times in this film that no dialogue is need as ms. Drake’s character’s pain and confusion is shown in her facial expressions and body language. It is just another added nuance in the overall performance of the extremely talented jessica drake.

One of the people she meets at the group is Jessie Lee. Beth is amazed at her way of looking at things through grief. Jessie has a very up front, life goes on, adventurous approach to life. It is a far cry from hiow beth looks at life at the present, but these two hit it off real well and their new friendship turns into a very intimate one. But that is just one of the changes that will occur with Beth as she struggles to get her life back on track. There are a couple of more scenes, including one at the cemetery that may be a little difficult for some to handle, but it is an intricate and important part of how this subject is handled in the guise of an adult film. All I will say at this point is that another man (Small Hands) will enter Beth’s life that will change this still grieving, still unsure widow in many ways. It is another important piece that the passing of her husband left her with that needs to be resolved so that sh e can move on.

This is an exceptional story that is very well performed with award worthy performance from Ms. Drake. Additionally, the rest of the cast is up to par with solid performances. The cinematography, locales, and settings are all excellent allowing for some tremendous visuals. The sex scenes are plentiful and run the table with boy/girl, solo, girl/girl all providing plenty of heat and sizzle. There is  one sex scenario that had to be very difficult and risky to get done, but it was masterfully executed. The entire production is extraordinary in every way in dealing with a very tough subject.

As someone who went through it with my late wife, I totally related to the emotions, fears and uncertain future that Beth encounters after her loss. It is dramatic and very real, but it is also extremely good adult entertainment and I recommend getting hold of “Lost Love” from Wicked Pictures.
