To begin with, welcome back home to Stormy Daniels. This triple threat personality has been away from the porn world for the past few years and it is great having her back. While she was away and pursuing other avenues, getting into the paranormal field, exploring the world and also getting married, Stormy’s return is a great move for the industry. The one thing we have all learned during Ms. Daniels time in adult is that she can write any kind of genre be it comedy, romance, all out sex, heavy drama, sprawling westerns and now the paranormal experience. In addition to the crisp writing, you can also count on unexpected twists and turns in her projects, and Hysteria is no exception. Add in searing, sizzling hot sex scenes and a Stormy Daniels film becomes something very special.
In her return to the writer/director’s chair and being produced by the legendary Axel Braun, Ms. Daniels takes us on a wild and unpredictable ride that plays with the mind from start to finish. Buoyed by an excellent cast who not only deliver sexually, but show off some terrific acting chops, this is a film that will have your total interest from the first frame till the last. So, strap yourself in and enjoy the return of Stormy Daniels creative talents to the adult screen.
The story revolves around a seemingly very happily married couple Anna (Adrian Ashley) who is a writer and Christine (Anna Claire Clouds) an artist. These two, as we see in the opening scene, seem to have it all, good careers, a loving relationship, a terrific sex life and everything going the right way. But looks and appearances can be very deceiving. This celebratory night they shared will begin to take some ugly turns almost immediately after Christine heads out of town on business leaving Anna alone and that’s when things begin to create various levels of havoc in Anna’s life. She is being questioned by her literary agent (Casey Calvert) about finishing the book she got a big advance on. That sets her off because of writer’s block and strange things that are happening around her. No matter what she tries nothing seems to work and then there are the strange guys she sees (Ryan Driller and Seth Gamble, doors opening and closing, a running faucet, mysterious sounds and it has Anna besides herself wondering if she is losing her mind, having bad dreams or if it is all real.
Suddenly Anna is awakened by her agent with a cup of coffee. Apparently, she left the door unlocked last night, so Casey is really concerned about her, but she needs her to finish the book or there will be a lot of problems. Anna is showing signs of cracking and it is suggested she see a therapist (Chris Cock). Unknown to Anna is that her agent Casey and the therapist are having their own sexual fling and this just complicates everything even more. As she looks at a photo from an art gallery showing it turns into a flashback of Christine getting it on with Seth Gamble in a really intense, hard driving sex scene. When it is over Anna walks in and can see what just happened and she is not happy about it. Now it comes back to the present once again as Anna is having all these feelings and strange things going on and it is playing more and more with her mind. There are the twists and turns that Ms. Daniels is known for that will keep you guessing and wondering. At this point in the film things really take a big turn where Anna and Christine are concerned and it will all lead to the startling and unpredictable conclusion. This is an epic return to adult film making by Stormy Daniels. But here we will leave the rest for you to watch and enjoy as Anna’s life continues to spiral out of control.
Once again Aiden Ashley continues to elevate herself into the top tier of exceptional actresses in adult. Anna Claire Clouds also shows off some solid acting chops as does the entire cast to pull this production all together. The four sex scenes are not only important to the story, but are exceptionally captured and performed. Ms. Daniels directing style, her use of camera angles, lighting, settings and music all lend to make this drama an edge of your seat guessing game. It is up for several awards and rightly so as it is a winner in many ways. “Hysteria” is one adult film you certainly do not want to miss getting hold of. Welcome back Stormy.
