Welcome to “Couples Night with AAN”.  Each Saturday we will have a review of a film, recent past or present, that is couples perfect. The kind of film you can have some adult refreshment and snuggle up with each other and enjoy a night at the movies in a very special way.

While we were checking through the files for  past and recent past films for our “AAN/NightMoves Vault” feature, we found this one. It is the perfect view for couples on a Saturday night. It’s from 2016 and titled “Trying New Things”. It has four well done vignettes of couples trying something new to spice things up. Dim the lights, get nice and close, have a drink or two. Then open up your own fantasies and enjoy all this film has to offer.

From the Tales from the Heart line of New Sensations comes this latest work of writer/director Jacky St. James. In this four vignette release, four couples try some new things to add spark and excitement to their relationships. All of them are met with both surprise and pleasure as they find these new ways to be exactly what was needed in their relationships. Each one has a nicely done narrative about how the changes came about.

Our first vignette has Sara and her husband at a crossroads after she sees him watching a porn movie and pleasuring himself. They get into it pretty hot and heavy, Sara thinks she has failed somewhere. He assures her that is not the case4 and then confronts her with the question of whether she has ever fantasized about another man. It stops her dead in her tracks as she has had those fantasies and has even pleasured herself with them. So why it is it okay for her, but not for him? So Sara decides to get him a present and brings him a porn film. She has decided that maybe watching it together will add even more spice to their sexual life. From that point on this very sexual couple really let things go between them in a very erotic, very sensual and passionate encounter.

There are three more vignettes to follow. There is Anthony and Casey who are in a very stale, ho hum marriage and don’t seem to have that certain spark any longer. Casey decides to try something and brings home an anal sex toy. Anthony is not too happy about it, but his reluctance gies in and things change for these two in a hurry. Then there is Richie and Kasey, whose relationship is doing fine but he would like her to be a bit more aggressive sexually. Taking the suggestion Kasey really turns on her aggressive side with the use of a blindfold and handcuffs. The final scene has Alison, the virgin bride to be, wanting to lose her virginity before their wedding day and how she plans to go about it.

Once again Jacky St. James has written some excellent and realistic dialogue for each vignette. The narratives are clean and sharp and played very well. The settings, music, audio and lighting are extremely well meshed together. The sex that takes place is filled with total realism, passion, desire, sensuality and with explosive, pleasing endings. The cinematography as always is spot on allowing for some great angles, some excellent visuals and giving the viewer a bird’s eye view of how these couples get over the hurdles they face. “Trying New Things” from New Sensations is one I highly recommend for couples who are curious, who are sexual and who like trying new things.
