The AVN Awards just concluded this past weekend and celebrated the industry with awards in more than 100 categories. NightMoves Magazine congratulates all of the winners of this year’s awards.
As the most celebrated awards show in the industry having begun in 1983, AVN set the stage for all other shows to follow. I am very proud to say that NightMoves is the longest continuously running, live awards show in the industry, as we hosted live shows in 2020 and 2021. We are preparing for our 30th annual awards show weekend this October 6-9, 2022. Many of the nominees and winners of the coveted AVN awards have been present at our past shows and many are winners of our awards as well.
I am very proud of what we have accomplished over the past years and the innovations we brought to the industry. We were the first awards show to let fans vote the winners and the first show to use online voting! I am also very proud of the fact that Art Koch, our National Features and DVD Editor (who has been here since day one) is also a member of the AVN voting panel and a member of the XRCO voting panel and Hall of Fame. We are the only award shows not based out of Los Angeles or Las Vegas and when the stars come to Tampa, Florida for our show we love to call it a “working vacation”.
