LOS ANGELES, CA – (JUNE 27, 2019) –  Global adult entertainment innovator Wicked Pictures, in association with contract director Brad Armstrong and Wicked Girl jessica drake, today announced the completion of principal photography on Lost Love, an engrossing look into the grieving process and how it affects emotions, relationships, and lives. Shot on locations across Los Angeles, this spellbinding psychological drama is their first scripted collaboration since the award-winning Editor’s Choice blockbuster Fallen II: Angels & Demons became a commercial and critical smash hit.

“This movie is an in-depth look at love and loss, with layers of nuance that only Brad Armstrong could have envisioned and brought to the screen,” enthused three-time AVN Best Actress, award-winning sexual wellness advocate, and contract superstar jessica drake. “My character Sara is blindsided by the loss of her husband, played by Ryan Driller. As she navigates the aftermath, we witness her pain firsthand. This completely unapologetic look at grief, loss, and the complexities of love brings us some of the most intense sex scenes in my career with some of the most talented performers in the industry. Working with Penny Pax was amazing, and the rest of the cast brought their acting A-game as well.”

For his part, Armstrong was only too happy to share drake’s enthusiasm for the Lost Love ensemble. “jessica, Penny Pax, Small Hands, Ryan Driller, Donnie Rock, Jessie Lee, Kira Noir and the rest of the cast all did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and making the story so believable.”

Like Armstrong’s 2015 AVN Best Drama Aftermath, Lost Love expresses thoughtful and meaningful views on life and death. The film’s ultimate conclusion is stunning but, in retrospect, inevitable. “Because of the story arc, there were key elements that needed to be incorporated intermittently throughout the script,” the director said of the film’s astonishing third act. “This became a bit tricky at times because I didn’t want to give too much away.”

“The cinematography evokes different emotions throughout, so if you pay very close attention to the details you’ll discover there’s more to our characters than their words and actions,” drake said of the film’s controversial conclusion. “At times, this movie felt too intense, too painful, and too close to home, but with our great cast and crew, we brought all of those feelings to the screen for a chilling climactic ending. It wasn’t easy to shoot, but it was a labor of love and I can’t wait to share it.”

Armstrong is clearly excited about his latest exercise in provocative big-budget adult entertainment. “I love a good surprise ending and I think people who like story-based erotica will really enjoy Lost Love.”

Lost Love is scheduled for a Fall 2019 release.

ABOUT WICKED PICTURES
Established in Canoga Park, California on March 1st, 1993, Wicked Pictures was formed with a firm commitment to producing quality adult productions created specifically for women and couples, a decision the company has stayed true to for over twenty-six years, even when this mission has seemed at odds with prevailing economic trends. And after a health scare in 1998 led many companies to begin instituting policies of mandatory condom usage, Wicked is the only producer still safeguarding performers’ health by continuing to adhere to this policy over twenty years later. Wicked continues to diversify and expand its commitment to couples’ intimacy through such initiatives as the romance-driven Wicked Passions label, the AVN / XBIZ award-winning franchises Wicked Comix and Wicked Fairy Tales, the award-winning educational series jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex, and the Wicked Sensual Care line of luxurious lubricants and enhancers. These forward-thinking ventures allow Wicked to explore new ground while staying true to its core vision of producing quality adult entertainment and strengthening its appeal to women and couples.
