In a press release we received here at AAN, it has been announced that one of the longest running, and most popular series from Girlfriends Films, “Road Queen” will end its run this year. The series, which began in 2005, has starred the charismatic MILF, Deauxma in the title role from the very beginning. Over the years the series has amassed critical acclaim, awards and nominations and featured some of the top female stars in the world of porn.

I would just like to add some of my own comments and thoughts as a film critic/reviewer about the “Road Queen” series.

Just released is Volume 32 in the series, featuring Jelena Jensen, Amber Chase, Shyla Jennings, Bree Daniels, Scarlett Red, Nora Belle, and Tara Morgan with Deauxma. The final volumes 33, 34 and 35 will be released throughout the rest of the year. As much as I have enjoyed reviewing so many of the Girlfriends Films releases over the years, “Road Queen” has always been one of my favorites for several reasons. First, I have enjoyed the stories, dialogue and construction of the scenes. I have enjoyed the realism and enthusiasm of Deauxma as the traveling MILF in search of pleasure and sharing her sexual experiences with younger ladies. The locations for the series have always been very picturesque, pure Americana and in some ways very Rockwellian. Then there is that purple 50’s Mercury hot rod that this sexy lady travels in and that automobile, a true classic of the period, has always made my mouth water.

In every volume from the first to the current the cinematography has been exceptional. Not only in the filming of the sexual scenes, but in the overall production, from the openings to the last frame. The way the camera captures the car on the road with the mountains, valleys and hills in the background is so well done. The site of the various buildings that seem to come from another time always give the viewer some very intriguing and memory invoking visuals. Add to that the various storylines that are well thought out and written, then are performed with total realism by the exceptional casts that are assembled for each volume. Simply put, the “Road Queen” series has everything one could want for solid adult entertainment whether you are male, female or a couple.

I personally want to thank Dan, Moose, Deauxma and everyone connected with Girlfriends Films for giving all of us such a tremendous series with some of the most fantastic ladies in adult, that have been fun to watch, critique and review over the past ten years. I look forward to reviewing this current volume and the final three in the coming months. I would also hope this series can go out with a several awards tucked under its worthy banner before all is said and done.

I have just one more important question to ask. What is going to happen to that fantastic purple 1950’s Mercury??
