The Submission of Emma Marx: Exposed – New Sensations – Director – Jacky St. James – Cast – Penny Pax, Riley Reid, Aidra Fox, Samantha Hayes, Richie Calhoun, Van Wylde, Ryan Driller
The brilliantly done, mesmerizing and exquisitely produced Emma Marx trilogy comes to a close with this exceptional final chapter. Once again Ms. St. James has taken her characters up another notch in this very special world for all to enjoy, be entertained by and embrace. The entire pace and backdrop for this final chapter are brilliantly devised, written and strung together in a very cohesive manner. So much so that even if you didn’t see the first two in this trilogy you can follow what has taken place prior to the finale. Penny Pax continues in the lead role of Emma Marx and Richie Calhoun as Mr. Frederick and they both embody the many Emma Marx’s and their doms that are out there in another riveting performance.
I want so much to give you a breakdown of this finale, but in doing so I would be taking so much away from your viewing pleasure. So rather than give you a breakdown of the scenes , the sex and everything that takes place, I am going to try to do this another way so that you will have to get this film and see it for yourself and how this has all culminated over the three episodes. So please bear with me because this film is one that deserves your full attention from beginning to end. Hopefully what I add here will give you just enough to go out and get this truly exceptional piece of film making. I can tell you that after writing this review, I will be watching it again, only this time with Carole, uninterrupted as a couple, not as a reviewer or critic.
The finale takes place four years later and the locale has moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta because of billionaire Mr. Frederick’s business and profession. You can see the growth that has happened in their relationship, the comfort level that they have with one another. The relationship has reached a point where there is an agreement with both of them regarding designated days that are either on, where their sex play comes into view in the way Mr. Frederick desires it or off, where there is no sex play of any kind whatsoever, Emma not even allowed to pleasure herself if she wants to. They are both settled into this comfortable lifestyle and relationship, but Emma feels that the time has finally come for her to be a bit assertive and get Mr. Frederick to open up about his own personal fantasies, so she takes on the dom role. However, it doesn’t work quite the way she hoped as many years before she came along he was in a relationship where the tables were turned. It is via one of a couple of flashback scenes, we see what he went through and what has brought him to this point in his life.
As the film moves along and we see Emma and Mr. Frederick going through their BDSM lives and also acting as any “normal” couple. Then a major twist in this story comes along that will catch you totally off guard, as it did me. It brings tragedy to Emma’s life in a way that I won’t even hint at here except to say that it will be a shocker as to what happens with Mr. Frederick and how. It is a pivotal part of the film and throws Emma into a tailspin. Her life is totally turned upside down and now she must face the reality of what is her life really about, where will it lead, what will it do to her. She does meet another gentleman, Michael Sullivan (Ryan Driller) to dominate her in ways she has learned to live with. In the end Emma realizes that life will go on and she will conquer whatever fears she may have had. It is a fitting ending to an exquisitely written and performed trilogy with hats off to everyone for a splendid job.
Once again Jacky St. James has written a story that goes beyond the norm but is so beautifully told and performed. While it is labeled porn, to me this is an art film, a mainstream styled film that just happens to have sex scenes in it. The settings, the lighting, audio, music, cinematography are all exquisitely done and create a visual canvas that is breathtaking. The sexual scenes are also exceptionally done and bring about the perfect amount of wonder, excitement, passion and desire. From an acting standpoint, it is easy to see why this trilogy has won so many awards as the acting is totally realistic and believable.
If you are looking for an adult film that rises above the bar, touches on a subject in a realistic, not tawdry, way and gives you total entertainment and enjoyment then I would very highly recommend you get “The Submission of Emma Marx Exposed” from New Sensations,, our “Friday 5 Star Feature” on AAN. Fact is, if you have not seen any of the trilogy, I strongly suggest getting all three.
