Shades of Scarlet 2 Higher Power – Zero Tolerance Films – Director – Mike Quasar – Cast Kendra Lust, Karlie Montana, Abella Danger, Jasmine Jae, Tommy Pistol, Marcus London, Derrick Pierce
This is the excellent follow up to “Shades of Scarlet” that was released last year and received several award nominations. The same can be said for this one as it will garner a lot of interest, buzz and critical acclaim. The story picks up where the first one ended as Kendra Lust, a reporter, is researching the death of erotic writer Roz Colling that has been shrouded in mystery. Quasar, who also co wrote the script, does a solid job of taking you along on this ride to find the truth. It takes you into a dark world of domination, heavily themed BDSM and the fascination this lifestyle has for so many. Once you see this follow up, you will want to rush out and get the original to see how it all started.
The opening is very chilling and the music is perfect, as we see the man, with Anthony Rosano reprising his role as the now dead author, drowning himself in alcohol in the shadows of the room. He is in a wheelchair and slowly makes his way across the room where he takes a revolver from the shelf. He is ready to move on and as the camera fades from him we hear the gunshot. Then the screen says 6 months later and we see our reporter, Kendra Lust, trying to get info about the deceased author Roz Collings, but getting nowhere. She tells hubby Marcus London that this person is “like the Howard Hughes of smut.”
She wants to break out make a name for herself and feels this mystery is the way to do it. She gets a message on her e-mail from someone claiming they were the last person to see Collings alive. If Kendra wants the story, she will have to meet this person the following day to find out just what it is she knows about Collings. She goes to the bar to meet the woman but is accosted by a loud mouthed guy trying to put the make on her. Derrick Pierce is the bartender and steps in to get the guy to leave. Kendra thanks him and tells him she is there to meet a woman named Karlie. He says he knows and hands her a note. The note tells her that now she has to go to another location and ask for a man named Tommy. So she is off to find this Tommy. The location looks like some kind of warehouse, but it is a bar inside and she meets Tommy Pistol. She tells him why she is there, but he already knows and says he never met this author. Now things are becoming even more mysterious and a little scary as Tommy becomes very forceful in his conversation.
That’s when he walks over to a cage that has Abella Danger inside as Kendra in shock and amazement watches Tommy. He continues to tell her things and then he yanks Abella out of the cage and proceeds to dominate her with floggers, whips and his own cock. He makes her do things to him, he slaps her, he forces her to pleasure him. Kendra watches in both shock and fascination as this whole sexual encounter takes place. It is rough, tough, intense and covers all the bases. Abella is simply awesome in this difficult scene. When it is all done Tommy walks towards Kendra but she beats it out of the place. She calls her mystery woman wanting to know why she was sent there. The woman, Karlie, tells her it is all part of her getting the story and will be in touch. Now Kendra is really wanting to get the entire story of just what took place and all the hows and whys surrounding Roz Collings and his death.
Kendra meets up again with the bartender (Derrick Pierce) who befriended her, Kendra’s husband has an affair with an old girlfriend (Jasmine Jae) and Kendra finally gets to meet up with the mystery woman (Karlie Montana). As usual I won’t spoil it, but leave all the rest for you to see, enjoy and try and figure out. In addition there are a number of twists, turns and surprises in the rest of this BDSM themed story. It showcases Kendra, which is not a bad thing at all, and the entire cast fit perfectly into their roles.
The underlying theme may not be for everyone’s taste, but the eroticism will draw the viewer in and just may trigger fantasies of your own. Add to that an excellent story that was well written and nicely paced by Quasar and this is a follow up that I would highly recommend. So be sure to check out “Shades of Scarlet 2: Higher Power” from Zero Tolerance, our “Friday 4 Star Feature. It is a riveting, engrossing and very couples friendly production you will love.
