The awards season has officially gotten underway with our 23rd Annual NightMoves Adult Awards show just concluded a month ago. Up next is the XBIZ awards. The list is out with a record number of nominees. Those awards will be held January 15th, hosted by Stoya at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Los Angeles. – For the list go to: http://www.die-screaming.com/2016-xbiz-award-nominations-339360/#sthash.fBIGVRvq.dpuf
The All Adult Network and NightMoves Magazine would like to congratulate all of the nominees that have been selected. Every single one of them is deserving after a year that saw some really great productions and performances put together and enjoyed by millions of adult fans. Some of the companies , in a time when the business is having some problems, went above and beyond to bring out stellar releases and introduce folks to a lot of new, exciting performers who wasted no time making their mark in the industry.
For the twenty five years that I have been an adult film reviewer, critic and writer, this was an outstanding year in many ways. While it is always nice to hear the comments from the fans on a film, a review or an article written, when you hear it from your peers, it is really something special. I am indebted to everyone in this industry who have been so gracious with their words and thoughts. I am also proud, and I know I speak for Paul and Tracy Allen, to see that so many of the nominees for XBIZ Awards, were winners at our show last month. We are also extremely proud of the fact that all three of our “First Choice” award winners, “Sleeping With Danger”, “Wanted” and “Peter Pan XXX An Axel Braun Parody” have been nominated. It is always a feather in our cap to be first when it comes to awards like the First Choice or any other category where a performer’s very first award in the industry comes from us at NightMoves. As the third longest running awards show in the industry behind AVN and XRCO, we take a lot of pride in what our awards and show mean to both the companies and performers.
Once again, we would like to extend our congratulations to all of the XBIZ nominees. I sure many of you will be on the nominee list for the AVN awards as well when those awards are handed out just a week later in Las Vegas. Good luck to one and all.
