The Blockbuster Receives Comedy Movie of the Year, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor Honors

  

LOS ANGELES (February 5, 2020) – Adam & Eve Pictures sex comedy Love Emergency, from award-winning writer/director Will Ryder, earned three XBIZ Awards, including Comedy of the Year at the annual awards event. The blockbuster movie had six nominations going into the awards.

 

The 2020 XBIZ Awards were presented on January 16, at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, honoring excellence and outstanding achievement in the adult industry.

 

Written and directed by Ryder, Love Emergency also earned Best Actor (Comedy Movie) and Best Supporting Actor for Tommy Pistol and Brad Armstrong, respectively. The two starred in the film as the unemployed college dropout Vinny and as Rod, Vinny’s cantankerous father in the film.

Love Emergency tells the story of a panhandler, portrayed by Tommy Pistol, masquerading as a surgeon in order to win the heart of a pretty nurse. The cast includes Riley Steele, Tommy Pistol, Jake Adams, Christy Canyon, Brad Armstrong, Sarah Vandella, Kenzie Reeves, Misty Stone, Nia Nacci, Liv Wild, Savannah Sixx, Sunny Lane, Astrid Star, Rachael Cavalli, Edyn Blair, Lucky Starr, Bambi Doll, Chad White, Brad Newman, Brad Sterling, Jack Vegas, James Bartholet, Frank Bukkwyd, Rusty Nails, Ryan Mclane, Blake Benson, and Deanzy.
