**** 4 stars
Take the daughter of a legend in adult circles with Holly Randall, who directed this gem and a multi award winning Best Actress in Avi Love and you have already hit the jackpot. Now add a very compelling, dramatic story that is superbly told, a super supporting cast and you have an exceptional film couples are really going to enjoy snuggling up with each other to watch. Once again Ms. Love shows off, not only her insatiable sexuality, but her amazing acting ability. Her command of the screen in delivering another award worthy performance is very special.
The story line revolves around Rebecca (Avi Love) who is the typical trophy wife surrounded by glitz, glamour, the rich and famous. But with all that she is bored, unhappy and actually a very sad person tired of putting on a front. So confused about her life she drives off a cliff, survives but a serious concussion has left her with no memory of what her life was like. This is where a nurse (Jayden Cole) comes into the picture to work with her. As their relationship builds Rebecca begins to wonder if getting her memory back and all that made her so sad is worth it. Has this nurse triggered other feelings in her about the life that she may really want? Or will she go back to the life she knew before the accident?
As it opens Rebecca’s husband is in his office working when his secretary (Vicki Chase) comes in. They go over some paperwork then go over each other in an office encounter. Then he lets a call that Rebecca is in the hospital as the result of an accident. When he gets there, she at first has no idea who he is. Her head is wrapped, she has a big gash on her head, black eyes and little or no memory. The doctor leaves the nurse with Rebecca and tells her husband what the prognosis is and what he needs to do as it will be a long process. Meanwhile the nurse is making some progress with Rebecca as she is shown some things to help trigger her memory. Next up we have Matt showing up with a friend of theirs Abby (Karla Kush). Rebecca is polite but really not sure who she is.
Then we have a visit from Jack (Jake Adams) who says he is her best friend, but again she doesn’t know him. She also tells him to not touch her when he tries to get close. He leaves the room and Abby is waiting for him and tells him that he is wasting time. Once again the nurse comes in and Rebecca feels she can talk to her more openly. Even though she has memory loss Rebecca can see that the people coming to see her are only concerned about themselves and how this accident affects them. So right now the nurse is the only one she feels comfortable talking with about everything. Slowly we begin to see a bond being made. Meanwhile Abby and Jack are more concerned about themselves than they are about Rebecca and it will only get worse. Jack still thinks he has a shot with Rebecca but Abby knows it won’t happen because she wants jack and shows him just how much.
Now time has passed and Rebecca is ready to leave the hospital and go home. She is filled with mixed emotions and again her only trust is in the nurse. She tells Rebecca that they will see each other when she comes for her rehab sessions. Once Rebecca gets home, Matt wants to get intimate right away, but she pushes him away saying she can’t and needs time. Next day as she is cleaning she comes across a diary that will have a big affect. She also gets closer with the nurse when she comes for a rehab session. What goes on from this point on with Jack, Matt and her friends I will leave for you to enjoy as this dramatic story plays out with a couple of twists and turns along the way to make it even more interesting.
This is a good story with solid casting and another captivating role for Avi Love. It is also a hit vehicle for Jayden Cole. The direction is very well paced, clean, sharp cinematography and very steamy sex scenes. If I have one criticism, the background music, while fitting was a bit too loud at times and overtook the dialogue. Still, it all adds up to another worthy couples friendly view for those looking for more than just sexual encounters. Be sure you check out “Finding Rebecca” from Wicked Pictures
