Dominican Porn Star Discusses Incident with MTV Star on NYC Crime Report Podcast
NEW YORK (June 10, 2015) – Maryjean speaks out about her assault charges against MTV star Sterling “Steelo” Brim. The Dominican porn star and Penthouse Magazine model shared her altercation with the “Ridiculousness” star on the true crime podcast “New York City Crime Report,” hosted by comedian Pat Dixon.
“’New York City Crime Report’ often tackles the most outlandish and shocking stories happening throughout the five boroughs,” says Dixon. “But we rarely talk directly to the victims themselves — especially when it comes to sexual assault. The fact that Mary Jean is an adult film actress just makes her story all the more compelling.”
The story broke in April when after a night of bowling and clubbing, Brim allegedly sexually assaulted the 25-year-old Bronx resident while she was driving, and then rolled out of the car to escape. Maryjean immediately went to the nearest police station to file charges.
“The police did not take me seriously,” says Maryjean. “They told me they were fans of [Brim’s] and basically treated this as if I lost something. Where else was I to go but to the police? I thought they were there to protect me.”

The New York City District Attorney is investigating the case; Steelo Brim, who is the co-host of “Ridiculousness” with Rob Dyrdek and Chanel West Coast, and is the creative producer of the show, continues to deny all allegations. He has, however, retained an attorney.
