Parody creator Will Ryder returns after the successful, and award winning, “Love, Sex and TV News” of last year and as promised, this production is bigger and better than ever. With a 22 person cast and a mainstream like behind the camera crew, Ryder gives us an original comedy which he also wrote, that is loaded with some good laughs, fun characterizations and plenty of sizzling sex. We gave this gem our “First Choice” award at our recent NightMoves 25^th Annual Adult Awards Show. I am certain that there will be more awards to follow with this very solid, very funny, very well done sex comedy that is buoyed by a superlative cast.

The  storyline revolves around a divorcee, Jennifer (Katie Morgan) who winds up taking over her ex husband Ryan’s (Ryan Ryder) secret porn company called Bad Babes Inc. Seems like hubby ran the company into the ground and now Jennifer, with little know how, has to rebuild the company. She gets help from the ex’s assistant (Kat Dior) and a very sexy lawyer (Sarah Vandella) and takes control of the business. What follows and all the antics that take place make up the premise of the move. With this large cast there is plenty of sex of various kinds that goes on. There is also some witty dialogue along the way and some over the top performances by members of this 22 person cast as Ryder keeps things going at a fast pace.

As the film begins we get a narrative from Katie about her husband’s empire and how everyone adores him that works for him. From the opening scene it sure looks like it. At this point they are not divorced yet, but Jennifer is trying to get the sexual spark back. Her maid Juanita (Luna Star) gives her a vibrator and says this will help and later in bed with Ryan the vibe goes off and almost knocks him out of the bed and nearly puts him out of commission. This is a funny scene. Now this is all before the opening credits roll. Then we’re back to Jennifer, the maid, the vibrator and daughter (Tiffany Watson) in a fun exchange in the kitchen. The scene shifts to Ryan’s happy office until his financial manager (Frank Bukkwyd) tells him the company is sinking faster than the titanic and they have sixty days to pay back the principal and interest. Ryan ‘s horny assistant can only think of sex, and it seems Ryan can only think of that as well. So rather than talk about the crisis, he’s off to make out with a new starlet (Adriana Chechik). And so it goes as this film continues to heap laugh after laugh along with the narrations and the steamy sex that takes place, and in a Will Ryder film the sex is always explosive. Here you get plenty of it. In the meantime Jennifer gets the divorce news and there is a meeting with Ryan, his lawyer (Seth Gamble) and Jennifer’s lawyer (Sarah Vandella) that all leads up to what she will discover with his crumbling adult business, a business she knew nothing about. It’s another well done, fun scene.

The way the story is written there is so much to tell, but I would much rather just tease you with it at this point and let you discover the rest of the goings on and what really happens when Jennifer, her ex’s assistant, their lawyer, the daughter and a few others take over Bad Babes Inc. Trust me when I tell you that you do not want to miss out on this one. The dialogue is funny, the performances are great, the settings are top notch and the sex is steamy, sizzling hot and loaded with some explosive endings. You can see in every scene that this cast had tons of fun making the movie. Staying character during the sex scenes was not easy, but they all pulled it off beautifully (Hats off to Kat Dior!).

Will Ryder has put together a really fun movie but as you watch it, it comes off more like TV sitcom with the way it is paced and delivered. After NightMoves, AVN, XBIZ and XRCO can get more awards ready for this one. Katie Morgan stands out as Jennifer and should get a Best Actress nomination, Ryan Ryder proves he can do comedy as well as drama and is award worthy, but among all the great performances, for me, Luna Star as Juanita the maid steals the show in every scene she is in and deserves a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Also have to mention that Alec Knight’s scene as a gay actor is a hoot! Fact is the entire cast stepped up and hit a home run. There is not a weak moment in this production and Will Ryder himself will be up for some noms as well. Now you have a good idea why we gave it our “First Choice” award at our show. I strongly recommend getting hold of “Bad Babes Inc.” from Adam & Eve Pictures, our Friday 5 Star Feature here on AAN. It is fun, sexy couples viewing, don’t miss it!
