This week we feature a very sexy, fun and friendly blue eye blonde, a born and bred California girl. She came into porn back in 2001 then left for a few years. She returned in 2015 and has been very busy ever since. Her name is Katie Morgan.
Katie is a true Angelino having been born on March 17, 1980 in Los Angeles and also raised there as well. She came from a very strict, religious family and her dad was a pastor. Katie was mainly home schooled and graduated at 16. She attended junior college, worked as a waitress and also managed a pet store.
Her entry into adult wasn’t the usual route most girls take. Katie did it so she pay-off her sizable bail and plea bargain due to some legal troubles in 2000. She watched a lot of porn and wanted to try it. She knew one of her friends was friends with an adult performer. Katie called the star and got hooked up with an agent.
Katie made her debut in 2001 in “Ed Powers’ Dirty Debutantes 197” and her career took off from there. With her blonde hair, smile, come hither eyes and sexual energy she was an immediate hit and found work with the likes of Pink Visuals, Elegant Angel and Wicked Pictures among others
In 2003 she was nominated by AVN for Best new Starlet. Though she didn’t win it did help cement her career in adult films. In 2005 she won the Unsung Siren award from XRCO. Katie continued doing a wide variety of genres in films and venturing into pother adult areas. Then in 2009 Katie Morgan decided to retire.
During her retirement she took a pretty successful stab at mainstream. She was featured in the HBO documentary Katie Morgan: A Porn Star Revealed and in A Real Sex Xtra: Pornucopia – Going Down in the Valley. Her most recognizable and famous role might be from her first mainstream appearance in the Kevin Smith comedy, “Zak and Miri Make a Porno” co –starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks.
She had appearances on the Howard Stern show and others. She co-hosted “The Wanker Show” on KSEX internet radio, and from 2011- 2013 she hosted her own podcast called “Having Sex, With Katie Morgan”. In addition, in 2013 while still retired from adult she was inducted as a member of the AVN Hall of Fame.
Katie returned to adult in 2015 and since then has been one very busy girl filming scenes in a wide variety of genres.
