(Los Angeles, CA / October 22, 2026) – Florida-based creator Honey has built Honey’s Old House into a full-time DIY and lifestyle business by documenting the repairs, surprises and personal reinvention that followed her purchase of a 1955 fixer-upper after divorce.
Originally from Vermont, Honey spent years working in marketing, branding and digital creative roles before buying the house and beginning to tackle its transformation. Her videos brought humor and a flirty twist to the projects, progress and mistakes along the way. A wood-chopping clip with an unexpected wardrobe change reached approximately 36 million views on Instagram, helping her renovation account find a much larger audience.
“I spent years working in marketing, branding and digital creative work, then buying an old house took my life in a direction I never expected,” said Honey. “Now I’ve built an entirely new career around something remarkably old-fashioned: working with my hands, fixing things and letting people follow along as I figure it out. It’s satisfying to see the house change and realize how much I’ve changed along with it.”
Honey is continuing the home’s renovation and expansion while developing longer videos for OFTV. Her growing lifestyle content also includes travel, cars and outdoor adventures that reflect her Vermont roots.

ABOUT HONEY’S OLD HOUSE:
Honey is the creator behind Honey’s Old House, a home, DIY and lifestyle brand that brings humor, personality and a flirty twist to real renovation projects. After her divorce, she purchased a 1955 Florida fixer-upper in 2022 and began documenting its transformation while learning to tackle repairs herself. Sharing the projects, mistakes and progress became the foundation of a new career and a story of starting over.
Originally from Vermont, Honey moved to Florida in her mid-20s and spent years working in marketing, branding, graphic design, social media, web projects and creative project management. She eventually turned Honey’s Old House into a full-time creator business, drawing an audience with her hands-on approach and unexpected edits. A breakout wood-chopping video reached approximately 36 million views on Instagram, helping introduce her take on women in DIY to a wider audience.
Today, Honey’s Old House spans home improvement, humor, travel, cars and longer videos through OFTV. Her Vermont roots, love of the outdoors and time in New England remain part of the content as she continues renovating and expanding the Florida property.
