Take an award winning director, paired with a terrific cast and a spine tingling story brought to you in very dramatic fashion and you have a hit on your hands. That is the case here as director/writer/producer Claudia Ross continues to create a pallet of vivid colors in a very psychological, edge of your seat drama. Ms. Ross won the Best Feature Film award for “The Hunger” at last year’s 33rd Annual NightMoves Awards. In this release you will be met with twists and turns that will take you into a disturbing world of forbidden sex and danger at almost every turn. Ms. Ross gives the viewer a very seductive, very raw look at a disturbing, mind bending slice of life. Once the film begins you will not be able to let it go until the very last frame plays and then fades to black.
The story revolves around Abigail, played with just the right shades of emotions by Octavia Red. She purchases a second hand camera she can use. When she gets it home and opens it she finds a data card with an audition scene and it happens to be a porn shoot. The looks and expressions on Abigail’s face when she sees what actually takes place are horrifying. After the woman has sex, another man enters the scene and definitely looks like he kills her. Obviously, Abigail has no idea who these people are. She has an image of the girl and also there is a very telling tattoo on the arm of the assailant. So now what is she to do? Try and forget it and destroy the clip or go to the authorities?
Abigail decides to go to the police and report what she found but that doesn’t pan out. For a variety of reasons, they tell it’s not anything they can do about. So, she goes home and decides to play amateur sleuth. She spends time searching the internet and soon finds the girls image on an adult company website. She goes there to get more info and when she is greeted at the door by Reagan Foxx, she thinks Abigail is some new talent showing for audition. Abigail plays along, even to showing off her body before the whole things goes south and she’s literally thrown out of the studio.
Now Abigail is more determined to find out everything and as she searches the computer, she finds the guy with the tattoo and is able to discover a sex club he goes to and she winds up getting herself into the club and watches him having sex on stage with Kylie Rocket. When their performance is over who comes on stage but the guy, Seth Gamble, who was in that tape clip having sex with the girl before the tragedy. He like the emcee wondering if everyone enjoyed the show and had a good time. Abigail goes up to him and threatens him about what she discovered and he just give her that smirky look and produces two vials and tells her one is to help you forget, the other to help you remember. At this point he also tells her that she has had sex with the tattooed man, Victor Ray. He convinces her to take the drop to help her remember. She’s hesitant, but she also so very turned on by everything and takes the drops and immediately her past sexual images come into play and she is quick to deny all of it claiming that is not her. What happens from that point on we will leave for you to discover. Be prepared for some surprising twists and turns.
This entire production had a very mainstream feel, look and presentation under Ms. Ross direction. The story was well written and keeps the viewer involved with every move that is made. The cast was absolutely on point in their characterizations to keep the suspense and wonder what would come next in this story. It is especially evident towards the finale when so much more is discovered by Abigail about both her past and future. This is an absolute couples slice of adult entertainment you do not want to miss. Kudos to the cast and crew for a job well done.
