Not all, but some and the number keeps growing.

Back in the days of radio before TV there was a show called “People are Funny” that did move to early TV. It was a fun show that showed the funny side of ordinary people in comical situations. Now all these many years later there should be a show called “People are Dumb” considering how many, so called adults, fall for and believe the amount of crap and AI generated bs is put out on the internet today.

Let’s face it, AI is part of our world, our lives and will only get better than it already is. There are dozens of examples floating all over the internet suckering people into believing it is all true and real. I am sure you have seen the one called “The Last Ride” tour with the likes of Dolly Parton, George Strait, Reba, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, etc. It is supposedly a nationwide tour in 2026. When you finally get through the muddle of ads to the feature piece there is no schedule, where the shows will be, how to get tickets, etc. yet people believe it and “can’t wait” to go see these stars in person. This post has had at least 4-5 different groups of stars in various postings and it is all AI generated and fake, but hundreds and thousands of people believe it. There is also a new one out now that has the likes of Barbra Striesand, Celine Dion and several others on a “Last Ride” tour. If you post that it is fake, they don’t believe it.

Then there are the AI generated stories about newscaster David Muir at ABC and those are really annoying and fake bs, but yet people believe what they read or assume. The articles always leave you hanging and wondering what is really going on. Fact is nothing is, it is all fake thanks to AI. There are the AI generated  “heart grab” stories about celebrities that have passed on that have people believing and praising said celebrity for something that never happened when they were alive. Or tons of “poor” animals in distress that miraculously get saved by  genuine loving people, again all done through AI.

Or the one about the NFL player giving up his “quarter million dollar” bonus and donating it all to schools in the area. People by the hundreds and more calling him a “God”, a beacon in the community, a role model, and all these different praises of him as a person. Yet, not one part of it is real and all AI generated, but people still believe it.

Then there are the hundreds of memes that show up on a political or lifestyle theme that are AI generated and not real with many comments on these memes made up, or taken out of context, but still people believe what they see and read because they have allowed this new world of AI begin to control their mind and that is exactly what the people behind all these shams are wanting to accomplish. It is what one college professor called “the dumbing down of America”. And he is 100% correct when you see how thousands of people respond to these phony posts, memes and made up and photoshopped stories, videos and photos.

Now, just as I finish this up, there are several fake posts going around saying the hurricane season is over and to not worry. Everything in these posts is a lie, fake and strictly clickbait. The hurricane season still has several months to go and is far from over. So be aware and be prepared.

What scares me most about all this are the people who believe these phony things. There heartfelt comments of love, praise, prayers and more for something non existent. The scarier part is that these are adults who have families, children, decent jobs. They drive, they raise kids, they vote and they feel like they are part of the “smart” brigade. But the simple fact is they “don’t get it” and I am not sure they ever will. Unfortunately, more and more it continues to show that people are easily fooled into believing what is fake.

I have just one thing to say to all these believers and followers, “Wake up folks and get back to the real world.”
