(Los Angeles, CA / February 21, 2024) — John Legendary officially announces his availability for full-time studio work, as the former part-time adult film performer opens up to the New York Post about his professional transition from engineer at a defense contracting company to leading man.

In the new feature interview, Legendary, a two-time AVN Award winner – 2023 for ‘Best Foursome/Orgy Scene and a 2024 Fan Award for ‘Favorite Male Indie Creator’ – discusses his job termination – presumably due to ‘cost-cutting’, but more likely the discovery of the star’s extracurricular onscreen work – when his supervisor hinted that she knew his identity.

“We got a new senior supervisor a few weeks ago, and she kept hinting… she was like ‘You look familiar, have we met before?’ I work remote, so she would only see me on Zoom… [but] she kept mentioning it,” says Legendary in the piece, who explains that he began shooting amateur adult content ‘out of curiosity’.

“I was in the hotwife lifestyle… I would f–k wives while the husbands would film me, so I was doing that and I was comfortable with husbands filming… I was f–king these wives for free. I was just doing that as my Saturday night hobby, my kink I did on the weekend. What would it be like to f–k pornstars and get paid for it?”

As he turns the page on a new chapter in the story of John Legendary, the actor and filmmaker – Legendary currently produces original content through his LegendaryX.com website – is feeling optimistic about the future.

“I’m from Detroit, Michigan and I’m like ‘Hmm, I’d love to be a porn star one day… you’d watch your dad’s VHS tapes and be like ‘Man, I want to do that one day,’ but you don’t really think you can actually do it. But when you live in LA, you’d be surprised by what you can actually make happen.”
