Porn actress and NightMoves friend Jesse Jane (Cindy Howell) was found dead Wednesday January 24 in Moore, OK.  Police responded on a welfare check and when they arrived they discovered both Jesse and her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, deceased. The welfare check request was placed by Brett’s employer, who hadn’t heard from him in a few days. A drug overdose is suspected.

Jesse won her first ever adult award from NightMoves in 2003 and won numerous other awards from us, AVN, XRCO, XBIZ and other organizations. She starred over 250 movies including the “Pirates” movies (some of the most successful adult films ever produced) that were partially filmed here in Tampa Bay. Jesse was inducted to the NightMoves Hall of Fame in 2008.

Jesse served as a host for Playboy’s live show called “Night Calls” and hosted Playboy TV’s “Naughty Amateur Home Videos”. She also launched a successful sex toy line. Jesse appeared in a few mainstream films including: “Starsky & Hutch”, “Entourage”, “Family Business”, “Bad Girls Club” and was a part of the CNBC documentary called “Porn: Business of Pleasure”.

Jesse Jane was 43 years of age and is survived by a son.
